What's your suggestion?:
This come along with what @Oliverium said back in January with his suggestion. Despite being "Reviewed" there has not been any news about it. Thus why I believe it is crucial to re-open a suggestion that had an unanimous approval by the community of users, but has not been received any response for 8 months now from part of the SRP team.

THE ISSUE
Again, this suggestion is targeted towards Houses, not apartments or any other property. The issue these property owners have is the lack of editing opportunities and inconsistency that there is when referring to a place they pay ¥250,000 a month to maintain. With such a high pricing, a "homeowner" would expect to be able to edit their property however they like (respecting realism and the rules within the property rules) just like most of us could see in some of the houses in SRP.

Take for example this absolutely beautiful house front yard and back yard from Joyclan.

Or take for example aslaniy's famous 001 house

Or the house right next to it. forestnotfoundxx's Von Dumplings' House

Or take for example ANY of the team HOUSES, whose properties blocked the sidewalk for some time.....

Now that we know the potential and what users SHOULD expect from houses, let's see where the issue starts.

Example #1

Now, don't get me wrong. I like that we have the option of pre-built houses. I find it a good alternative when people don't want to focus too much on their backyard and such, but just like the post of Oliverium, this creates potential roleplay opportunities, and we don't need to forget that whilst SRP stated multiple times that 'They can do whatever they want with these properties because we don't own them' at the very least having the chance of making them feel like a personal area would be nice.

Furthermore, having some places who have more building permissions than others without providing any explanation, rather just relying on the answer that 'that's just how it is' sounds dismissive and arbitrary if you ask anyone who has a slight interest in knowing why there is an issue in the first place.

If you ask me what would be the difference between an Apartment of Complex S (both ¥250,000), I would dare to tell you that there is no difference, as a matter of fact, Complex S has a bigger building area, so a house is comparatively worse... Which make no sense.

THE SOLUTION

Just like the examples we saw above, there needs to be an equal and proportional way of setting the regions of a house. It can't just be a throw of dice and say; "Oh look I can build into the street now." Or "Aw man I can't add a flower pot outside of the window." Which, again, seems completely backwards of what a standard should be about. So, what I propose is the following:
1. Respect the Built House, walls, and floors. Do not allow players to modify those regions since the goal is not to modify the house itself.
2. Grant building perms to the home owners (and everyone with building perms inside of the residence) to build inside of the Property Region
2.1. The Property Region should be taken into reference the inside of the Polished Andesite that surrounds the House, on top of the Smooth Stone.

Under my understanding, this solution requires region modification. Which could be tricky, but I propose this on top of what Oliverium originally proposed for two reasons; the first one is that it gives complete freedom for us, the players, to choose what we want to do with our house, and this let us put what we want in any moment, without the need of relying on tickets or long waiting times on something that probably would need to be there for a few hours (Ex; a family barbecue that only needs to add extra chairs). The second reason is from what a staff member told me in regards with property editing; Bringing someone from Creative to edit your property messes up with the regions, and thus will potentially create more issues.

What I propose is a long term solution that solves this issue and for once removes this arbitrary relationship with House Property "owners."

THE ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION

Follow the Proposal of Oliverium.
1. Forums: Give us a system on there like for housing requests.. IGN, Coords, Reference Pics. That way, a build team member (who is familiar with that SRP builds should be like) can take over.
2. Team Houses + 'Special' Owned Houses: Team houses and (for example) the Haydari Residence (house 201) has special build access to the backyard. It looks STUNNING.
3. Preference: For houses with large backyards, the house itself is smaller. People build inside but barely hangout in the backyard due to it being so baron and basic overall. Having some level of build team's customization can help people expand their residence into something to be proud of.

It brings an immediate solution, but under my point of view, it could bring some issues in the long run if not followed properly.

However, the issue remains, and thus a solution should be brought by the Staff Team. The community has been very vocal and enthusiast on this idea, and it has brought a significant positive feedback from them. So I ought Kimi to consider this and keep us updated on the matter in https://roleplayhub.dev/schoolrp/.

TLDR; Don't be lazy and read it.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
1. Creates Roleplay Opportunities
2. Set an expected standard of where people can build rather than 'guessing'

+1

I never understood why an owner of a house wasn't allowed to edit the outside while others were able to. It seems weird and shows an unfairness throughout the owners of the property spending the same amount while having less access to edit. Regardless the size of the backyard and frontyard.
Same goes to some apartments also.
