The schedule above includes information about my University/Weekly schedule for THIS SEMESTER. It is subject to change in the semester that follows this one, regardless of changes, I plan to be active on the server most evenings of the week and weekends. When it comes to my general activity, I play on SRP almost every day for at least a little bit of time per day. My time is pretty evenly distributed between roleplaying, grinding attributes (Speed), and fishing for money. I’d be considered quite the active player.
My overall experience on the server is very positive. I dedicate a lot of my time engaging in roleplay in one on one situations or small groups, which I’m sure many others can relate to. I find enjoyment in things like DetailRp and opportunities to use my real life knowledge to further the overall roleplay experience. My casual roleplay style probably wouldn’t be considered the most literate, but I can definitely DetailRP myself into a semi-lit style (4+ Appends) and have no hardship in switching into that when the situation calls for it, whether that be in culinary classes, art classes, or roleplaying out my character doing someone’s makeup.
In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?
In my opinion, professors are important for a large variety of reasons. They’re a crucial part of the school faculty in that they further the education aspect of roleplay and create more opportunities for interaction between teachers, faculty, and students of all levels. Professors, with their more specialized fields, can also teach students things about subjects that teachers might not be able to focus on as strongly. They are also an incentive for students to graduate their character and to complete the homework that the Highschool Teachers assign to them, without them there would be little to no incentive at all.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?
I acknowledge and accept that me being inactive would lead to demotion or removal from the faction. I fully understand the importance of being active and fulfilling the responsibilities and meeting the expectations of the faction. I plan to do my best to stay as active as I am now and communicate with whoever I need to if I’m unable to adequately participate.
Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?
I understand that if my application is accepted, I might have to undergo professor training. I’m more than willing to participate and learn whatever I need to to meet the guidelines that are set for me to make sure I can fulfil my responsibilities as a professor as adequately as possible.

--In-Character Information--
What's your character's full name?
Sitting across from the interviewer, Linnea would wear a sparkling smile that brightens up her whole face. She doesn’t fidget, in fact, García is very sure of herself. It’s not overconfidence, rather a sense of assuredness in her position and in all that she has accomplished. Her gaze remains locked with that of her interviewer. At the question, her smile widens, with a light voice, she speaks. “My full name is Linnea García. If we’re bringing up titles, too, it’d be Dr. Linnea García.” She put a certain amount of emphasis on Dr. It certainly wouldn’t be a part of her title she planned on letting anyone forget.
Age (Minimum is 27):
Shifting her whole body in her chair, she straightens up a bit. Linnea folds her hands in her lap, left over right. Dr. García would look to the ceiling for a moment before meeting the interviewer’s gaze once more. She feigns nervousness, lifting her hand to tug at her collar. “My age? Ah, a lovely question. I’m twenty-nine.” She says with a small laugh. “It’s the last stretch of my twenties! I hope to make the best of it. Aging is a beautiful thing.” She lightens up again, that bright smile returning to her face.
Nationality:
The question makes her perk up a bit. Dr. García flattens her hands on her lap. “Actually, I have Dual-Citizenship. Both in Mexico and Japan. I spent my time pretty split between the two.” She pauses, her expression taking on something unmistakably fond. The memories of both of her homes being something that never ceased to make Linnea warm in the heart. “I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Japan and Mexico are two places so enriched with culture and history and I’m incredibly proud to call both places my home.” She finishes her answer rather passionately.
Preferred Subject:
If the prior question made her perk up a bit, this one had Linnea García nearly jumping out of her seat. “Physics!” She nearly shouts it. Upon realizing her volume, she sheepishly clears her throat and answers again. “I’d prefer to teach Physics. I have my PhD and a few years of research in different fields under my belt. Whether it be Electromagnetism, Optics, Astrophysics, Quantum Physics, Liquids, Motion. I’d love to teach it all!” She beams at the interviewer. “This is my passion, and I hope that with being able to teach it to others, I can make what is typically some student’s nightmare class into something enjoyable!” She finishes off, excitement at the subject not only audible in her voice, but seemingly emanating from her very being.
Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?
Linnea García has a head full of lavender hair that she takes careful care to manage. Her mixed heritage is visible in her face, with features that befit someone indigenous to Mexico blending beautifully with the features that point to her being a Japanese woman. Dr. García has a pair of brown eyes lined with black lashes, the only real giveaway of her natural hair color. Her skin is fair, almost to the point of a sickly appearance in which she credits to the SPF 100 that she has been wearing since the age of 13. Linnea stands at 5 feet 7 inches, her overall form is rather slender, her time studying Physics having not left much time over for things like strength training or physical exercise. Regardless of this, her demeanor is always bright, even more so when it comes to things like Physics. Her behavior is always kind and her smile brightens a room, a significant contrast to others in her field who usually maintain a more stern demeanor.
Her uniqueness comes in her ability to find the good in just about any situation. It takes a certain type of person to get through a Physics PhD and come out the other side with every bit the amount of happiness that she had started out with. Unlike many others in STEM, she maintains a positive demeanor and places a great value on maintaining an optimistic outlook on things. Everything has a solution, as a Physicist she feels she has the skillset necessary to find solutions to any problems that come her way.
Linnea García has one love in her life, and that is Physics. Physics is an ever changing field, with new advancements coming to the different parts every year. Her goal is simple, and that is to stay in her field. Whether that be as a professor, as a researcher, or someday when she’s old just staying updated on the newest discoveries. Her ambitions are not large, she is very focused on her present, and on this new step in her career as a potential professor.
What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?
She relaxes considerably at this question. An easy one for her to talk about! “When it comes to students, I consider each and every one of them to be a building block for the future. My interactions with them matter significantly to me. It's always better to leave a positive mark on a student than a negative one, I hope to leave a positive impact on all of the students I come across." Linnea pauses, her voice rather warm. "As for my coworkers, I have an unimaginable amount of admiration for all of them and their respective fields. I think my interactions with them would be entirely based on this respect that I have. I know how much work it takes to get here, and every single one of them has gotten to this point as well. That's incredibly admirable in my eyes." She finishes with that same bright smile.
What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
Dr. Linnea García has always loved Physics. Every aspect of it fascinated her to no end, through her experience in research, graduate school, and Postdoc studies, she figured out exactly what she wanted to do. That was to teach, to spread her joy for physics to just one or two other people. She’s heard of nightmare professors, she’s had a few herself. Dr. García thinks it would do some good for the world for someone who loves their field as much as she does to teach it to others. It is that love for Physics that pushed her to become a Professor, and it is that love for it that has her applying here in Karakura.

--Roleplay Scenarios--
A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
Linnea would release a soft exhale, and her gaze would tighten, her expression would shift into a smile that doesn’t at all reach her eyes. “What a lovely demonstration of applied force and inertia!” She would say, rather cheerfully. Making her way across the room to the student. “Air resistance, conservation of energy, truly, a lovely demonstration of Physics.” Upon reaching the student, she’d inhale once more. “Don’t throw things at people in my classroom. That goes for everyone.” She’d direct her words to the rest of the class and pass the jock a detention. There is a time and a place for throwing things in her class, clearly, this wasn’t it.
A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
Linnea would probably prepare for this within her lesson. She understands that many students have a difficult time grasping more complex Physics concepts, but because she understands the importance of guaranteeing a proper understanding of these concepts, she’d apply the Physics to a variety of situations. She’d make it interactive. If she noticed anyone keeping to themself or potentially not understanding, she’d tweak her teaching however needed to ensure that everyone in her classroom was leaving with a proper understanding of the lesson she was trying to teach that day.
When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
Within the faculty lounge, Linnea would be a bit of a social butterfly. All bright smiles and kind greetings. Linnea would probably see it as a personal mission to befriend as many of the school staff as she could, even those who were only there to work. Especially those who were only there to work. She’d compliment the faculty, hoping to improve the day of just one person each time she went through a series of interactions.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject:
Linnea would toy with her hair, beaming at the opportunity to show off her idea. She’d extend her hands outward. “Let me set the stage for you. Me taking a classroom of students out to the field!” She talks with her hands, trying to paint a picture for the interviewer. “I’d have one of the students stand in the center and the other students circle the center student. The ones closest to the center student have to run, the ones farthest away have to stroll.” She continues, her whole demeanor lightening up. “I’d use this to teach them about planetary orbits, the students would be modeling a diagram of our solar system, and it’d be an excellent way to discuss the relationship between the sun and our solar system’s planets.” Linnea finishes her first idea, quickly jumping to her second. “Next? I suppose I’d have them make paper airplanes. I’d have them make their paper airplane and then predict how many meters that it’s going to fly. I’d then have them throw the airplanes several times from the same starting point and compare their results.” Dr. García takes a breath before continuing. “This is projectile motion, we can talk about all the components of flight that affect their throw results and the reasoning behind why we threw them multiple times. The scientific method, if you will.” Dr. García finishes off cheerfully.
She pauses for a moment, thinking up a field trip idea. “I’d take them to the beach!” Dr. García decides swiftly. “The moon’s gravitational pull affects the tides. There’d be evidence of this all over the beach! Places with wet sand are an excellent marker.” She pauses, putting her words together. “I suppose i’d have them model this relationship, while discussing how the different moon phases can affect the tides, I’d have them line up in assorted ways to demonstrate this. I’d probably use a particularly tall student to represent the sun and a particularly short student to represent the moon as well.” She tacks on. “While I had them all lined up, I’d probably give them a hypothetical tide record, and ask them to make decisions based on that for whether or not a future or past time was low or high tide!” Linnea finishes up with a smile!
