What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
Overall my experiences with roleplay are listed as followed.

Teacher Faction:
I am currently an HD in the teacher faction and I have been In teacher faction for 1 and half year. Throughout my time in teacher faction I have always made quota and as a higher up from the faction I would also contribute in training newer people to the faction as well as holding the responsibility of being the first faces of newer players of SRP. As of right now I have always completed my minimal quota and would translate this into EMS, if I where to ever get in.

MusicRP
While I may not be as well known in this field of Roleplay, I've always had a thing with introducing it to newer players and encouraging newer players to take up on it. Additionally I myself would have performed at major events such as the 2025 Frostfest and the Onrain Networking. Sprinkled up with many other performances I've done at Pinkumo, Seikatsu, and Umisachi. Overall MusicRP is also considered as a form of DetailRP, as conducting it would most likely be in the form of DetailRP, similarly with how Cheer teams have their own routine they would have to follow in respect to a W2g link. This form of Roleplay while not everyone does it, it's a massive contributor to why I want to join EMS, being to have more opportunities to DetailRP.

FamilyRP
a year back I ran my own family being the Kagami family. it has grown up to during it's peak of 20+ members while maintaining consistent activity through the time I kept it ran. As of now I would be focusing more on FamilyRP in other families such as Takeshima family, leaving the family as a whole to be on hiatus. When the time comes I would one day revive the family back to what it was before and to try and bring back activity to it.

General Activities
Across several other characters I'm part of different clubs with some leadership experiences in some, while also having to work in several shops such as Daini No Ie and Pinkumo which I'm currently a manager at. With the current club one of my character is in being Science Club, would enable me into not only writing out different reports, but also documenting to my leads.

What is your motivation for applying?
My reasoning to joining the Hospital faction as some in server and irl correlations. little trivia about myself: A good majority of my family have contributions to the medical fields. My cousins are currently nurses and having to work in patient care. One of my siblings is actually in the process of taking the MCAT, to go to medical school, leaving me who used to work part time in patient transport and as a Home Health Caretaker. I generally have a lot of respect for those who worked in medical, and due to family influences, a lot of the mentalities and ways of thinking is something I see myself having out of habit such as critical thinking, and ability to ask different yet specific questions. And that's something I've started to see myself using a lot more while on SRP. Part of the reason I'm applying for EMS, aside from the extra Roleplay opportunities is because of many things. Even though I'm not studying medicine as I'm mostly studying literature, I feel joining the Hospital faction would give me that connection between understanding and incorporating a mindset similar to the real world medical field while also playing along in respect that a lot of the stuff I'm doing is writing. Not just that but it's also for the extra experiences and to exploring other opportunities of contribution in other factions then teacher faction. While also gaining experience with things beyond what I normally do.

Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
The Hospital Faction has a Hierarchy of doctors which applies to all Psychiatrists and Doctor, excluding Paramedics who have their own respective hierarchy. With all of them having their own specific roles and gimmicks that makes them stand out from each other from the faction while also making every department invaluable with setting the identity of the Hospital Faction.

Main Hierarchy
Director
Is the main boss around the hospital and lead and manage all medical reports, documentations and overseas the entire hospital. They are also the main decider for any future hires into the hospital while also being the person responsible for trainings on the Trainees.
Deputy Director
the second in command after the director and takes over all the directors responsibilities when they aren't around.
Clinical Lead/Chief Paramedic
The Clinical Leads oversea their own department and look after their own physicians and residents in their respective department on top of basic duties. They also provide training and authorized time away from the hospital to those beneath them. The Chief Paramedic is the same however they only look after their own paramedics.
Attending Psychiatrist/Doctor
They are the attending physicians of their department having completed their residency and are more experienced then most of their residences. They are in charge of their basic duties on top of additional responsibilities. Going from Resident to Attending would take an estimated time of 3-5 ooc months, determined by the residence's overall performance within the faction. They would also be free to transfer departments from their attending role to the paramedics, given that they complete the respective training that comes before they become a paramedic.
Senior Psychiatrist/Doctor Resident
They would still be in their residency albeit are much more experienced then the residences below them, and would perform their usual tasks as mentioned with the resident Doctor/Psychiatrist while also acting as a upperclassmen for the Resident Psychiatrist/Doctors. They would occasionally be there to help their underclassmen with tips and suggestions on how they can improve while also being there incase they're having any trouble. They may also be eligible to transfer to become a Paramedic, however further assessing would be heavily monitored to see if a particular resident is eligible. And would need to undergo training if approved.
Psychiatrist/Doctor Resident
The Residence are new to the hospital and are learning and performing their task hands on. They would have also completed their vigorous training and would be set off to helping patience using what they've learned and what they've been trained during their weeks worth being a trainee. From there they would begin their duties such as taking in patience, writing in notes and looking after symptoms the patience is suffering, and making diagnosis. They would also be required to document their interaction to the higher ups to verify if it's enough to earn quota.
Psychiatrist/Doctor/Paramedic Trainee
Psychiatrist and Doctor trainees are the newbies who've recently gotten into the Hospital. Before they become residences they must undergo a vigorous training process which could last a week to understand the ins and outs, being their introduction to the faction. Paramedic Trainees however where either Psychiatrist and Doctors having transferred departments and would undergo their own set of training before working as an EMS worker.

3 different departments in Hospital

Paramedic
Psychiatrist
Doctor
They are a department of medical workers who answer to emergency calls that relates to medical emergencies. Paramedics are one of the few roles on the server who are authorized into entering the school incase of an emergency (and can only be called in by School Nurses). Paramedics also work alongside with KPD whenever they're needed for instance, If there's a rogue animal in the forest and KPD requires an EMS worker to tranquilize it. This role is also something you can only obtain through promotions and authorization from the Director to transfer departments. They also have their own hierarchy and mandatory training they must undergo prior to transfer.
This department focuses primarily on mental health and therapy. Unlike doctors Psychiatrists are able to run therapy sessions that are authorized while also being able to prescribe certain medications to the patients. They are also qualified to diagnose and treat any mental health disorder they may find with their patients. Furthermore they are required to obtain basic medical training in order to treat minor injuries when there are no doctors around. While this department can only do so much, their expertise in mental health and therapy make them an essential role in the hospital faction and just like the doctor department, their hierarchy share similarities.
This department primarily focuses on physical health and take care most of the physical cases whether they are minor or major emergencies. They have a wide range of responsibilities such as tending to broken bones, stitching up cuts and lacerations, and providing physical therapy like Oxygen/Detoxification in rare cases. In addition they can also perform tasks like using cat scans and x-rays while also being able to prescribe medication or physical wear like prosthetics, canes or eyepatches to the patience. They are also qualified to perform surgeries whether they are simple readjustments or urgent medical emergencies. Overall they primarily make up majority of the activity within the hospital faction and are the backbone to most cases. And just like Psychiatrist department their hierarchy share similarities

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical specialty? Why did they choose this focus?

During her time in Medical school, Mafuyu would grow a deeper connection with her nieces and nephews and it's one of few leading factors to why she choose to specialize is psychiatry. In particular she would specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry in respect to her family life. The turning point of Mafuyu's decision to follow with psychiatry was with a particular memory she had with her niece and her sister Hoshina. After the death of Aiko, Hoshina's first love, Mafuyu would do her best not only to be there for her sister, but to also make sure her 3 year old niece wouldn't be traumatized by the news of her father's passing. That particular moment was what made her choose to continue her studies in psychology, and eventually finding a spot in the medical field. Her sense of obligation to make sure her relatives stay happy and composed during hard times, would make her realize they aren't the only ones. And that there are many people just like her who have the same views and desires to make sure people live happily. Being how she chooses to and specializes psychiatry.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Despite having not having too much history working experience, Japan with her earliest work being a receptionist at a clinic while also doing basic procedures at her work, her experiences in medical would primarily blossom upon her time in the United States. In the US, Mafuyu would have by then performed well her Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), letting her enroll in Medical School, via John Hopkins where she got her MD. From there she would continue to spend time at John Hopkins as she continues to do her residency as a Psychiatrist. Being a full 3 years of residency she has completed at John Hopkins general hospital with an additional 2 years of being a attending physician as a children and adolescence psychiatrist.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Mafuyu Takeshima is a Japanese/Korean female who's slender body of 5'7 trails down the halls of the hospital, while emitting the feint smell of lavender. Her most notable features include her long, purple dyed hair, which she either has it flowing down or styled into a side ponytail while occasionally wearing glasses for reading or when writing reports. In the way she acts towards her colleagues can be compared to being in the warm comforts of a home during a stormy winter night, as she's mostly known for being a gregarious and comforting individual with a side goal of doing her best to make everyone's shift much more enjoyable. With the way she acts, she would want to make herself approachable and easy to talk to. During days she isn't at work or is given time off from her higher ups, Mafuyu would commonly be seen in a casual clothing including a yellow cardigan and a long white dress, instead of her usual scrubs and whitecoat.

How does your character act around the hospital?
For someone who seems to be a rather chatty and gregarious person many people would assume, she's someone who clocked in just to talk and to gossip about other, but she's far from it. While Mafuyu is considered an extrovert, she's also someone who knows how to read the room. And considering that the setting takes place in a hospital where in many cases it's life or death, she is someone who would remain focused and diligent while she's clocked in. During downtime at that hospital, Mafuyu would be doing ether at the following. She would either have conversations with her fellow hospital workers while waiting for patience's to come through, organizing and documenting her interactions with patience's she checked out, or cleaning up many of the examination rooms. For someone who tends to be social, she's also someone who's able to find a balance between relaxing and staying sharp during moments that could escalate from 1-100 in the blind of an eye.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
As a whole, Mafuyu is the type of person who prefers to work with other people rather then being by herself. Generally speaking she is the type of person who can work both by herself and with other people, show she is and has always been someone who've preferred to work with other people. Mafuyu believe that the welfare of a patient is to be determined by proper communication from patient to doctor and to other colleagues. And even then for the longest time she has always been a rather gregarious individual which is playing into the nature of psychiatry as many physicians under that branch would be required to be opened mentally while also having to rely on communication more frequently then other departments. As she would quote herself that "Proper Communication is the most vital tool in all things medical". With that said, as much as she emphasizes on the importance of talking to others, she is still understanding on the fact that there will be times she's the only person who could help certain patience and would need to rely on her own instincts to make sure they're feeling well, without having to rely on others.
