Suggestion for a new building to replace the gym beside the news reporter station. I understand that an apartment complex is held above it but I'm sure that this could be worked around said complex. Being on SRP for quite a long time, I've realized that no one uses the gym to its full potential, therefore I'm wanting to suggest a different place to replace it! I have a few different ways this could be utilized.
The cultural center, this could be utilized with different roleplay scenarios. Ergo, some rooms can be different things. A dance studio, music room for upcoming artists in Karakura, photography studio and more. This can create opportunities for small concerts, plays, competitions, photograph RP, and community events when staff sees fit!
The residential center, this could fit more as a complex lives above. It could have a laundry room, study/work area, small cafe, indoor garden and a leasing office. For those that live above can go below to roleplay different scenarios and it could be a SRP hotspot for greenies and even new players to explore.
The Neighborhood Center is quite similar to the residential center although it can allow for different scenarios. Holding a convenience store since the closest is on the other side of town could be convenient, a small cafe, pharmacy, bakery, restaurant that can be held upstairs [Could be player ran, or without allowing it to be open 24/7 like a waffle house lol.] With a mixed used building it would offer more than the gym does now. Giving players more business to interact with without entering Shotengai or other far places across Karakura.
The bakery and cafe can be put into one, it's pretty self explanatory. This could be a better option, as it can be available 24/7 to players who wish to interact with it.
How will this benefit the server and community?:
Replacing the gym with either one of these alternatives could provide more beneficial use of the existing gym in place while still being able to work around the Complex above it. Helping distribute roleplay throughout the map, the space remodeled could be a median community place where players can naturally meet, host events, or discover new opportunities to SRP. It could help newer players as well as it's close to spawn and it would be an easy way to get them experience in roleplaying.
Replacing the gym could serve as a multi use rather than just one huge building that most overlook, that has limited use! The goal at the end of the day from this is making better use of an already existing place while adding something that benefits a wider proportion of players! If anyone has more suggestions or ways to make this better let me know!!!
