What are your current roles on the server?:
Kennedy .Oswalt [Highschool Student]
Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important to SRP because they create an environment for students to learn new things, meet other people, and have many opportunities in the classroom. They are also important for maintaining order in classrooms so that students don't break any rules or skip school.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?: I've always wanted to become a teacher because I enjoy teaching others. I find it very awesome to be able to go in front of a class and teach them something, while also interacting with them, getting to know them, and having a joke or two. I find it very interesting. A position as a teacher just stands out to me because I get to be super social.
I also want to give students the best experience when they come to my class. I not only want them to feel like they can enjoy themselves but also learn something, no matter what. Even if the class is boring, I want to help them enjoy it.

Describe your character:

He likes making jokes and making everyone feel happy, but he can also be very serious and responsible whenever needed. He can always adapt to any person or situation, learns quickly, and has a lot of empathy and care for others. He is also a very nerdy person and has an interest in technology. He does sometimes get carried away by talking too much, but he is very honest and considerate.
Roleplay Scenarios
A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Kennedy would first ask them what they do not understand. If they are new to his class, he would observe how they learn and adapt his teaching in a way that helps both the student and the entire class learn. He would then check on the student to make sure they understood the content well. If not, Kennedy would write a small book to guide them through the content and make it easier to understand. If the student wants, Kennedy could also help them after class. Otherwise, he could recommend books to read based on the content.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Kennedy would first ask them to stop, but in a nice way. He might even join in on the joke briefly before asking them to pay attention. If the student is still being disruptive, Kennedy would change their seat, and if the student continues yet again, Kennedy would place them in detention.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
1: How Does a Large Language Model Work?
- Kennedy would split the students into roles or groups and show the process of how LLMs work. For example, one student would be the input of a user, another student would be the tokenizer and break down the words, and so on.
2: Build Your Own Computer!
- Kennedy would split students into groups of a minimum of 2 and make them research what kind of computer they would make and why. They would then present it to the class, and of course, it would have to be within a reasonable budget. An example would be a student making a computer specifically for video editing and choosing the components.
3: How Does the Internet Work?
- Each student would be assigned a unique role. One student would be a Wi-Fi router, another would be a data center, and another would be a data packet or a device. They would be placed around the school or close to the classroom, and the other students would watch how the internet works in real time.
