I have been on and off on SRP since around 2020, but I didn't become extremely active until around 7-8 months ago. Ever since joining the modelling team, I have been pretty consistently active- aside from busy university times, where I of course have always tried my best to communicate if I am unable to be extremely active.
I am available most days of the week for hours per day, aside from occasional plans and obligations irl, and would be able to dedicate however much time necessary to this faction.
What is your motivation for applying?:
As someone who has always had a pretty heavy interest in detective type characters and stories, I have always found KPD to be quite interesting, especially as someone who was pretty heavily involved in the crime faction for quite a while. Ever since I began playing SRP, I knew that if I were ever to apply for an adult faction, it most definitely would be KPD.
Something I appreciate about the adult factions is the application aspect of things; while many may not have the time and motivation to write one- which is completely understandable, the people who end up getting into the faction are usually those who are quite passionate. I have always had a harder time roleplaying with people who tend to just be trolling about- while it is occasionally fun, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to roleplay within a faction along with people who may have a similar passion.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
There are several things to note, though I feel like simply reading the KPD doc and listing every single category in point form doesn't exactly show off knowledge- more just the ability to note things down.
KPD have many responsibilities within Karakura, some of the main ones include:
- Law Enforcement: Enforcing Karakura's laws and bringing Criminal's to justice, whether that be through means such as long term investigation, swatting and investigating properties, or a high pressure instance of chasing a criminal on the run. Officers are faced with a variety of different situations and challenges, as well as responsibilities like keeping logs, and making sure that already arrested inmates are tended to properly.
- Being Available to Citizens: One of the many responsibilities that KPD members should take seriously is simply being available to every day citizens. Whether that be actively tending to the front desk, remaining attentive on patrols, or paying attention to the phones for incoming distress calls.
- Awareness: KPD members can't simply rely only on civilians to make reports, they also need to keep themselves aware by actively patrolling when necessary, and keeping an eye on CCTV and the radio channels.
To list a few...
KPD faction members are also given access to equipment and tools that may not be available to any other faction, and are responsible for not only learning how to use these items, but also learning when it is appropriate to use them. While I will not go into listing them, as that would simply just be copying down what was in the doc- not necessarily a show of knowledge, I will iterate that these tools give KPD officers a great advantage in combat roleplay, and that abuse of any of them is completely unacceptable.
If necessary, I am more than happy to provide more knowledge, but I figured that the best way to showcase would be through experience and roleplay!
Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
Even though there has been somewhat of a decline in Criminal RP, KPD adds a whole other layer to the faction, and is essential to keeping potential criminals in check. Even outside of crime rp, KPD are a very important factor for many other factions for a variety of reasons, and add a whole lot of roleplay and event opportunities, especially for groups like the EMS and Government roleplayers. Police and law enforcement are, in my opinion, an essential part of any community roleplay settings.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Before the individual stood a man at a staggering height of 6'2. His somewhat intimidating stature, was accompanied by a toned, lean build, which rested beneath a dark three piece suit, which looked practically brand new- not a wrinkle in sight. The matching black blazer was slung over the male's shoulder, being held up by his fingers, which were hooked around the collar of it. Peering down at you were pale blue eyes, through a few, stray strands of black hair, which had fallen from their previously combed placements. Contrasting his jet black hair, but complimenting his cool toned eyes, was pale white skin, a hint of pink at the tip of his sharply pointed nose. At a first glance, the man looked rather put together, but if one were to look closer, they may notice the slight dark circles beneath his piercing eyes, a hint of the exhaustion that resulted from his sleepless nights, or his frequently clenched jaw; a habit he had developed over the years.
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
The male let out a sigh as he'd cross his arms over his chest- a subtle subconscious habit that he had developed, as if it were a way to guard himself. Cullen spoke, his tone low and clear, "If one were to ask me, I'd say that it's best to approach any social situation with a 'professional' mindset." His pale eyes darted around the room, before returning to meet those of his questioner, as he'd add, "It's unnecessary and sloppy to put on such a persona, I believe that one should approach any and all conversations with clear, concise, and logical communication. Why waste someone's time with meaningless pleasantries?" A rather cold response, but also a guarded one. After a few moments of silence, he took notice of his positioning, releasing his arms from their crossed position as he'd instead shove his hands into the pockets of his trousers; it was as if he was trying to appear open minded, despite his contrasting, intentional choice of words and tone.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Cullen is someone who most definitely prefers to work alone, as someone who has grown accustomed to the idea that he can't rely on others. While reluctant, if he absolutely needs to work with someone, he will- however, he tends to have a set way on how he likes to approach things, if he feels that his partner is incompetent or not contributing how he sees fit, in extreme cases, he will ice them out and do things his own way.
While he may not admit it, Cullen understands that this is a flaw of his, and has been actively working to improve upon it, but he does have his occasional drawbacks from time to time.
What's your character's backstory?
Cullen's father came from generational wealth in England; a wealth that was not earned through particularly moral means- while his mother, of Italian descent, was simply someone struggling to get food on the table. Born out of wedlock in the city of Naples, Italy; Cullen spent the early years of his life in deep poverty within his birthplace, his father having abandoned him and his mother, leaving them to fend for themselves. For as long as he could remember, the boy found himself scrounging the streets, taking any opportunity that came his way to support himself and his mother, opportunities that often came with a great expense to himself.
At the age of nine, his mother fell terribly ill; unable to afford any treatments for her, she inevitably passed, leaving the boy on his own. As a result, Cullen would soon find himself in an orphanage; one may think that this was a potential blessing in disguise- after all, he was given food and a roof over his head. Unfortunately, conditions were not much better than if he had remained on the streets.
Several long months passed before the orphaned boy's living situation would change, as his father would eventually resurface, taking him in and leaving Naples.
Italy was now but a figment of the past, as Cullen's life in England began- a complete turn around in nearly every aspect of his life would occur.
Cullen and his father's relationship remained quite cold during their time together, affection not being a virtue shared between the two. In the place of affection and warmth, the boy was granted wealth, education, and just about anything of materialistic value. Unlike many in his place- who, unlike him, were raised, shrouded in wealth from the womb, Cullen made use of his newfound resources and opportunities to their full potential.
As his only son and heir, the boy's father decided against keeping the secrets of his wealth from him, eventually revealing the dark truth behind it. The Forsythe wealth was, in simple terms, one made at the expense of others; their ancestors were willing to sacrifice their humanity and push aside their morals to not only gain money, but to build a legacy. An unchanging legacy, that those in the following generations would carry on without hesitation- an unchanging legacy, that was to be passed on to the next head of the family; a boy who had experienced life among those who would be harmed and forgotten by this legacy.
A powerful resentment had already taken root in Cullen from the moment that his father had decided to abandon him and his mother- a resentment that would only continue to fester as he learnt more about the man.
While he would never admit it aloud, he felt as if he was partially responsible for his fathers wrongdoings, simply for being his son- despite the fact that he had spent the first decade of his life on the other end of the financial spectrum, what some might call, 'the bottom of the barrel'. This distain is what would eventually push Cullen to set out on his own at the age of 20, disconnecting himself from his father's corruption, along with all of the wealth that came with it. The young man would take a burden upon himself, to root out those like his father- to bring justice to those who would boost themselves up at the expense of others.
A burden to not only escape his family's legacy, but to destroy it.

That should take care of gathering evidence of the incident, in the event that I am without it, a phone camera should suffice." He stated, clearly, his eyes wandering as he'd continue. "Depending on the severity of the situation, in one case, I may radio or try to contact any available higher-ups, informing them of the abuse, before going in myself to put a stop to it." A pause followed his answer as he ran a hand through his hair, pushing aside a few of the black strands; a huff of air escaped him as he would begin to speak again. "Rules are rules, and the law is the law. As disgusting and foul as some inmates may turn out to be, we are merely stepping down to their level if we grant them to luxury of losing our composure." Cullen's tone did not dare to shift even an inch as he spoke, conveying his cold logic with clear precision.
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
A low hum escaped his throat, as he parted his lips to speak, "While having protocols can be beneficial, they can be detrimental, depending on the situation. In simple terms, I suppose it depends on the situation. If it was urgent, potentially threatening to their life, I would not hesitate to step in, regardless of the risk to myself. Of course, I would make use of my radio, but I would hope that the higher-ups would be able to grasp the logic that a potential cut or two with everyone making it out alive, is much better than leaving the co-worker to fight for themselves while you wait for backup- but of course, it is situational." A quiet grunt escaped the man as he cleared his throat. "Once handled, I would then detain the criminal immediately, and make sure that the situation is under control, before helping said co-worker get potential medical attention- if necessary."
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
A momentary silence filled the room, as his jaw tightened, his eyes focused on a random point on the floor ahead of him, a state of deep thought falling over him. After a few, long moments, Cullen's pensive expression faded, as he broke the silence, "There's nothing more disgusting than corruption, if you ask me. As spineless and rotten as that individual may be, a head on confrontation is not the solution, it would simply inform them and give them the warning necessary to potentially cover up their tracks. The move is to play it quiet, beat them at their own game- if you will; investigate and gather the evidence needed to bring them to justice, then bring it forward to a trusted higher-up.
