Describe your activity on the server:
I would describe my activity on a scale of 1-10 probably would be a 7. I am on almost every day for at least four to six hours a day, I do work quite a few hours a week, so on lots of days, I will be on earlier in the day, before 2 PM or 3 PM ES,T as that is the time I have to be at work. Then I will also usually get on after I get off, of course, after a while to relax from work. I would love to provide a schedule to show what days I work, but I do not have a set schedule, so the days I work do change depending on the week, but usually the time I am there does not. On days that I do not work, I am usually on quite a bit more and throughout the day at random times. I am very active within the school, going to as many classes as I can. I'm hoping by joing that can help me become even more activity and be more useful to the server in a way.

What is your timezone?:
My time zone is EST.

List your current and past applications:

List your current roles on the server:
I have a few different roles on the server, most being an animal whitelists that I’ve had for a while now, except the cat whitelist I got recently.
College Bachelors and Grade-12 - MamaRP (I’m applying on this account)
Bird and Fox - Iheartgoths420
Adult and Fish - Iheartwomen420
Bears - Iheartbears420
Frog and Cat - Iheartbugs420

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I have quite a lot of experience with roleplay. I have been on SRP since around 2021. While I may have joined then, even before that, I did roleplay in groups, on Discord and even on Amino. Which, to my knowledge, is still popular to this day, and quite a few people use it. Since joining the server, I have been in quite a few factions, along with having jobs at player-run shops. This also includes CrimeRP, which was a big part of my daily routine for quite a while. The first faction I ever joined on the server was the School Faction, where I was an Art Teacher. I stayed in that faction for quite a while, and after some time, I ended up joining Track, which also helped to broaden my roleplay experience and helped me learn to DetailRP sports better than before. It also helped me learn more about other sports, even though I have never been quite as good at them.

After that, I actually joined EMS, where I was also previously a psychiatrist on my character, Yun-Sun. While in EMS, I met many different people and learned a lot of stuff, not only about roleplaying but the faction too! It was genuinely a very enjoyable time for me, especially during all the CrimeRP stuff that was happening at the time. I also learned how to detailrp more, and just so much stuff in general. Other experience I have with roleplay would be the Shrine Faction, this was the most recent or last faction that I joined before taking a long break due to moving in such. Shrine is still often a place I go on multiple of my accounts to interact with the staff and such. It was another favourite I had; I hosted many weddings when I was a Priest. I am hoping to expand my experiences further within the faction if accepted!

What is your motivation for applying?
I have a few reasons that I wanna apply to EMS, one of which is that I genuinely miss the environment. The Hospital was one of the factions I liked the best, as I got to meet so many people as a Psychiatrist. I enjoyed helping people on the server; along with that, I quite like the work environment, especially a lot of the people. Another motivation for applying for the faction is that I would like to help people again on the server as a psychiatrist. I enjoyed doing therapy sessions for patients, prescribing meds, patrol and more! My main motivation, though, is for the experience. I wanna meet all the amazing people in the Hospital Faction and the interesting patients that I can help along the way. I also cannot wait to see all the changes that have happened in the time I’ve been gone. I'm hoping that I can be a great addition and help out the server in this way!

Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Hospital Director

The Hospital Director plays a vital role in leading the hospital. They are one of the most important members of the hospital staff, as they are in charge of overseeing the whole hospital. The Director handles things such as who gets hired, dealing with any scandals that may arise, financial things, the stock of inventory and more. They are very crucial in leading the hospital, as they are the person in charge of everything, while the Clinical Leads oversee their department, the directors oversee them and MORE. They decide who is accepted in the hospital, and anything they say is the word, and they help to protect the hospital from getting a bad reputation, and so much more.

Clinical Lead
A Clinical Lead is another very important role within the hospital. Each Clinical Lead is in charge of Every department has a Clinical Lead, or Chief, as the Paramedics do. They are in charge of leading and managing each department they are assigned. Clinical Leads are also in charge of the training of any new resident within their department. They oversee everything that happens within their department, reporting back to the director if needed. They also provide the same services as anyone in their department would.

Paramedics
Paramedics do a lot of things that doctors do, but also more in ways. Paramedics are the ones who would arrive at a scene in town where they. They handle providing care for urgent situations that may require it. They are also responsible for surgeries as well as doctors, but they are more specialised in handling urgent situations and providing emergency care. They provide emergency medical care in urgent situations. They are usually on call, so they respond to calls and go to them. They would also be some of the first to arrive at a scene if someone was injured and it required it. They help in urgent situations that need medical assistance that others may not be able to provide.

Doctors
Doctors are similar to psychiatrists in a way, but also different, as they are in charge of handling physical ailments while psychiatrists handle the mental side of the matter. They are also the ones who diagnose a patient with any physical illnesses they may have, may it be internal or external. Also, diagnosing when a bone is broken, if there is internal damage and more. They are also responsible for dispensing prescriptions for any problem that may need it, along with performing surgeries on those who need them. Doctors also handle physical therapy for patients who may need it; they are also able to prescribe things like crutches, which psychiatrists can't.

Psychiatrist
Psychiatrists are responsible for handling patients with mental illnesses and other mental problems that would need professional help. They are also responsible for diagnosing any mental illness, prescribing medicine for that illness and even providing therapy sessions. While doctors handle physical ailments, psychiatrists deal with the mental side. They are there to provide support for people who suffer from a range of things such as PTSD, Depression and even more. They help patients by providing therapy and medicine to them; most psychiatrists stick with their same patients.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Adaeze's speciality is Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This Psychiatry is focused on dealing with developmental, behavioural, and mental illnesses in children or even teenagers. The speciality ranges from the variety of things you learn, and how those illnesses function in certain people and take a toll on the younger brains, also seeing many things you normally won't see in adults. She has always adored this speciaclity, as she also adores kids and teenagers, as she wants to help them, knowing how stressful those years can be, especially now. That is one of the many reasons that she chose this speciality.

Adaeze grew up in a very busy home; her parents had many children in total, and there were five other kids. She was the sixth, not in that order, though, but even so, as she grew up, she always had a younger sibling or was a child herself. Of course, growing up in a family with so many kids can sometimes cause problems; even if it's not within a family with so many kids, one is bound to have some problems at some point in time. She was always much quieter than the others, standing in the back more often than not. As all of them grew up more, she started to realise some things and began reading, which is where everything really started. The love for psychiatry and everything, but importantly, in her many on many books she had found a lot of stuff on children's brains. Being a child herself at the time, reading that was a bit..weird for her, but nonetheless, she was intrigued and wanted to know more. As she continued to read, she started to notice some of the behaviours in mainly her older siblings, really, the only thing she could see in the youngest was how they were spoiled and cried a lot.

She mentioned it to her mom and dad on one random day that is forever ingrained in her brain. She never talked as a child; it was almost impossible to hear her speak even once in that year, but in that moment, she did. She told them how she’d noticed some behaviours and pointed them out in the many books, and both her parents were a bit taken aback, but pleased and encouraged her little hobby. Her family was one of the main reasons she chose to specialise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is cause she learned a lot from her siblings, like this, even helping them a lot as children and even when they got older. She wanted to be able to help more people like that, and better, even now as an adult, she still offers a lot of help to her family. As a teenager, being able to help her siblings with things at school, even petty, small things, was something that opened her eyes to the profession, and after that, she just never looked back.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Yes, Adaeze has worked in a medical position before she came to Japan. When Adaeze lived in West Africa, she went to college along with doing all the required training for her degree. After around nine years in college, training and an internship, she graduated with a PHD as she had been going to college from the moment she turned eighteen and was out of high school. After she gained her degree, she went to work at many facilities and hospitals across West Africa over the next three years of her life. She was never fired from any place she worked, but instead left of her free will to go elsewhere. Adaeze wanted to learn everything and anything she could from each job. She would stay for a certain amount of time and then eventually move on to the next facility. Each job she had, she learned something new, learned about new methods, illnesses and more. She wanted to learn everything she could and felt that the way she could continue to do that after her studies was to learn from different hospitals, also. She even helped at a school for a while, which was great because of her speciality, so she was very fond of that job, but would eventually leave that also.

One of the jobs she had that has stuck with her even till now would be when she worked as the psychiatrist for a prison. The job was completely different from what she was used to, but when she decided to go for it, she knew she could learn things she wouldn't be able to at a hospital. Adaeze ended up working at the prison for six months. During her time there, she met many different types of people; all the patients, aka the inmates, were different. Each one was so vastly different, and there she learned how long-term confidence affected the mind and how it also affected their actions, taking part in their behaviours. She was brokering her spectrum, and what she was used to while working for the prison, she also learned how the inmates' past trauma had a role in how they handled their new life. Of course, working at a prison had bad sides; she had to quickly learn how to deal with aggressive inmates and when to call it off and get the guards. She had to learn to read the social cues better than ever before to see if she made them use it before they lost it. This job was nothing like the speciality she had, but the job is one she cannot forget and was actually very intrigued by the whole time she was there. She remembered learning so much, some stuff she doesn't believe she had learned from hospitals. After three years of working at different hospitals in West Africa, she decided to pack up and move because most of her family was slowly moving to Japan themself.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

Adaeze is a cool level headed person; she is not very reactive to things others would be, as she often just raises her eyebrows. Despite this, she is very sweet to everyone, even if she does come off as monotone most of the time. She’s always been much quieter than most around her, though she would always be observing and watching everything with a watchful eye. Adaeze is a rather tall woman, as she stands at 6’0. She was more lean as she had some muscle to her; her hair was long, as she had micro braids that went down to her knees, almost. Her hair was a dark brown, almost black in some lighting. Her features are sharp, as she has a noticeable jawline and sharp eyes, which were also slightly squinted; maybe she couldn’t see quite as well? Though she would never mention it, she often kept to herself, never standing out necessarily in the crowd.

Though her height made her a noticeable figure when looking, she always stood with her arms over her chest as she always seemed to be watching those around her, observing them and their mannerisms. I believe what makes her unique, especially, would be how she observes people. She will rarely ever talk to people, but as she is around them more, she will slowly learn their mannerisms, what makes them tick, how they may handle a situation and more. She prefers to learn about the people around her through observation. Despite therapy, she has never been good at small talk, often preferring to stand to the side and just nod along when talked to, unless it's a question. Some may think she is ignoring them, but she's just always listening and thinking. I think this is something that makes her unique: her ability to observe people and just learn about them gradually over time, even without talking to them.

Adaeze could be perceived in multiple ways, depending on her relationship with the person and, genuinely, just how they view her. Most often thinks she is either arrogant and just doesn’t feel she should talk to them, almost as if they think she believes they aren’t worth her time. Others could perceive her as shy, also due to her lack of speaking unless she happened to be in a session or actually engaged in a conversation. Though most of the people who actually know her would as just level-headed and quiet, despite that she's very considerate to people she knows and is acquainted to more than others. Sometimes, offering small things such as food or help when needed, of course. Despite how quiet she is when someone is struggling, even if it's not a patient, she will always offer advice and try her best to comfort and make them feel better about whatever it is. While some may perceive her as arrogant and rude, she is quite the opposite, despite their thoughts always being sweet and having a small smile at most time.

How does your character act around the hospital?
When Adaeze is at the hospital, she acts a lot like she does off duty, mainly cause she always carries a level of professionalism. She grew up in a business family; both her parents worked in business and had companies back in her home country, so growing up, she was taught how to be 'proper'. So even when she is not at the hospital, she always has a level of professionalism, as she does at the hospital; she always minds her manners and never even raises her voice. While in the hospital, she is always alert for anyone who may enter, in case they happen to need urgent care. She never seems to get tired; she would most likely sit at the desk and wait for anyone who needed something, being ready to alert the doctor and such if needed. When she is in therapy sessions, she would make sure to listen more closely than ever, also making sure to mark down notes about the session and things the patient said. Adaeze would always try to be attentive to whatever is going on in the patient's life, threading carefully when coming to a conclusion of a diagnosis. Making sure to get it right, or at least not make the patient upset with what she says, which also plays into her manners and choosing her words carefully, as she wants to make sure each patient remains comfortable with her, no matter what. She's always trying to come up with solutions to any problem a patient, maybe even a coworker, may have, so that she can provide them with help that may be very useful.

At every turn, Adaeze is willing to help anyone and everyone if she can. As she gets used to the new work environment, she would most likely start talking more to her coworkers, which would be in a quiet voice. Adaeze tries to keep her voice calm and quiet, especially in the hospital, as she knows it echoes and there are people in recovery, healing, could even people in surgery. So she has adjusted her voice and the level that which she talks to make sure she does not yell in the hospital or speak loud enough that it could disturb someone. Even in a therapy session, she speaks with a level of calmness and compassion as she wants them to know she is on their side. Also, if she were to go on patrol, she would be on alert then also, but more importantly, for civilians that may need help or even a possible crime that could be happening. She would make sure to stay with anyone else on the patrol, so that they can stay safe and make sure the civilians are safe and prevent anything from escalating to the extreme. She would make sure when on duty that she is always ready, cause you never know what can happen.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Adaeze has always been more of a loner; despite her wanting to become closer to people, she usually gravitates toward being alone. She has never found herself in a situation where she really needed to work in a group, despite maybe one other person. She can always work with someone if that is what is required, but usually, if she had the choice, she would choose to work by herself. Even as a child, she found herself always tending to prefer being alone, always engrossed in whatever book she could get her hands on. Her siblings would try to get her out, but even then she was never exactly that excited, even on a road trip, though that was cause she got car sick trying to read her books. So no,w even as an adult, she finds herself leaning towards working alone as she has never been great at working with people. She also finds great satisfaction in doing things herself; it makes her feel more accomplished than when she is accompanied by someone else during a task. She likes to make breakthroughs in what she does, and reach new lengths, along with feeling like she is hitting an achievement when she does stuff by herself. Adaeze has also found that, usually, even if the option was given, all the tasks that she completes are ones that are done alone and don't need any other people to complete. Lots of her past work experience, there weren't even many people in her department, so she was always alone to begin with and got used to the silence and amount of work she'd be given.
