Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:

Well after all it’s SCHOOL roleplay server so what would be srp without them? They basically create the whole base of what the server goal is. They create the structure that makes the roleplay feel like an actual school rather than just a hangout place, which makes the game much more interesting and helps people to get more into their character and gives more roleplay opportunities. On top of that, lessons aren't just entertaining and sometimes truly hilarious, they can also be educational. Many teachers/players put time and effort into creating interesting classes that teach players new facts and topics they may have never heard about before, allowing people to have fun while learning something new at the same time. I also think teachers are some of the first people new players look to when they join srp. They help students understand how the server works, answer questions, and make new players feel welcomed into the community. They play a huge role in creating a friendly and engaging environment for everyone. That’s why they are very important!

What is your motivation for becoming a teacher?:

Payche- I mean i would love to share some of my personal knowledge and experience with other players! Heh..

No, but seriously. It was the first ever faction I joined and I truly enjoyed it. Interactions with other faculty members and students gave me so much joy and laughter. Helped me to learn about server more, improved my roleplay skills and basically kept me in the game! I really enjoy the idea of hosting lessons that are both fun and informative, making new players feel involved and possibly showing how fun server can be! I love seeing students actively engage in lessons and enjoying roleplay, no matter if that was my own or someone else. Is definetly one of the most satisfying parts of the game. Also since forever i always was this kind of person that loves helping and teaching others even in simple stuff like helping with studies. So i'm really looking forward to do it on srp once again.

What's your character's full name?:

Mei slid her paperwork across the table, resting her hand on it for a brief moment before pushing it toward the interviewer. Her name stood out in bold letters across the top of the first page."Xi Meiling."She pronounced it carefully, placing a gentle accent on Xi, knowing that while it looked simple enough, it often tripped people up."But please," she added with a small, polite smile, "Call me Mei. Just Mei."

What is your character's age?:

A soft giggle escaped Meiling's lips."As a lady, I don't get asked that question very often." She leaned back in her chair, settling more comfortably into the cushion."I'm twenty-five," smile not leaving her face as she spoke "Twenty-six soon."

Physical Education

˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊

Describe your character:

Meiling was born and raised in China. Pure-blood chinese, no extra mixers needed! She is definitely not stepping out of the crowd with her beauty however she is not ugly either. Just a basic chinese girl.

Mei has naturally straight, dark hair that she often braids when she's about to play and step on the courts and take game seriously. She has deep brown eyes that are usually decorated with a subtle touch of eyeliner and little sparkly eyeshadow if she wants to go extra. Meiling is quite petite.. aka a very short woman and she knows it. That's why there's always a pair of heels in her gym bag! She loves her red bottoms, and she believes they go well with everything!

˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊

Mei is very simple when it comes to her outfits and style she goes for. She prefers neutral colors that don't draw too much attention, and you're far more likely to see her in a tracksuit than a dress. But if she does wear one, Mei goes for something chic and elegant! Sometimes Meiling goes for headbands or decorative bows in her hair. She says no to jewelry unless it is a 10-carat diamond ring. She wouldn’t accept anything less than that. She treats her makeup like the best adds on the top. Goes nowhere without her eyeliner or lipgloss. Always ready to help her students to look stunning even while running miles!

˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊

She carries quite an amount of attitude despite her small body. She grew up in a house full of siblings, no wonder her temper is so short. Mei stands her ground, speaks up, and never lets herself be overlooked. One warning, that’s it! She's not the type to repeat herself and everyone will learn that quickly. However, she can be the sweetest soul for those that earn her trust and sympathy. Once she gets to know you she will shower you with little gifts, kind gestures, and she will note everything down to later on make your day better. Did not pass the vibe check? Meiling will let you know. She is ghosting you and you have no idea what you have done wrong? Looks like you problem, darling.

˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊˚₊⋅─── /ᐠ - ˕ -マ ───⋅ ˚₊

From a young age Mei was always standing out with her energy and stamina. Always firstto any kind of activities, racers, team games, hikes. Very last to fall asleep and first on her legs ready to start a new day.

In school she tried plenty of sports and was on multiple teams. Finding it as her passion to learn and become the best, it was her competitive side talking for sure. From playing volleyball to swimming or even shooting her shot in basketball or baseball. She may struggle with math but she has no problem with scoring three pointers.

Later on she continued on her passion, choosing her studies along. Mei studied sport-science and sports coaching. Finishing both of her studies with a diploma! Now continuing that track she moved to Japan with her family, staying in Karakura, hoping to share her knowledge with others and create a safe but fun and entertaining space in her classroom for students. Ready and motivated to teach them how amazing human body is and how much of great use sports can be.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:

“If a student in my class was struggling to understand the lesson, I would first take the time with them to find out what they were having problems with. I would most likely explain the topic again using simpler instructions, or maybe even easy demonstrations. “ Paused there for a brief moment, clapping her hands together as she continued to speak. “I would also remind them to ask questions without feeling embarrassed! Everyone is different and it’s normal that some people will be better at math than throwing a ball over the net!" Mei leaned forward in her chair, showing invidual infront of her, her full attention and engagement into the coversation." My goal would be to create a positive and encouraging environment where every student feels supported and has the opportunity to learn.”

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:

“Oh that is a fun question. You see, I don't like repeating myself when it comes to disrespectful behaviour.” Tapped her chin with her finger, squinting her eyes as she creates an imaginary situation in her head.” One warning is enough. But I would address the behavior calmly and respectfully, of course. I would give them a clear reminder about the class expectations! If the behavior continued, after class I would speak with the student privately to understand if there was an underlying reason for their behavior. You never know, maybe they thought they are cool or something..” Mei's brown eyes sparkled with passion. She was truly ready to face any type of difficulties."

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:

1.Mindful Dance Class ♡

OBJECTIVE

  • Help to show students how dance can be used to express emotions while improving body awareness and control. Because any kind of sports are not there only to tire you out.
PLAN AND ACTIVITY
  • Starting with a very simple warm up which would focus on balance, posture and understanding body isolation and some of overall body movements to keep those muscles warm and ready for action!
  • Then assign different emotions such as sadness, anger, happiness. Students create simple movements that represent each emotion the way they see it and feel it. Nothing crazy, let your body guide you!
  • If time allows, create groups, giving each one of them different emotions. Now it is down to them to create something together and perform!
  • Finish with a group discussion about how movement can communicate feelings without words.
GOAL
  • Students learn about understanding of how dance can be used as a form of emotional expression or relief. Boosting confidence, body and mind awareness.
2. Hot Potato ♡

OBJECTIVE
  • In this situation we will learn more about sports but in a fun way! There are no losers but no answer - LAPS! You will thank me for your speed attribute later.
PLAN AND ACTIVITY
  • Everyone forms a big circle. Before throwing a hot potato into a crowd sport will be assigned. The person that receives the potato has 10 seconds to answer, their answer has to be something that goes along with sport said before!
  • Example: Baseball - homerun/strike/shortstop etc.
  • !DING DING DING! Timer is over? You gotta run darling! Better make it fast because you are back in the game right away!
GOAL
  • Teach students a little bit more about sports and plugins, spiking their interest to try them out.
