Depending on how you rank it, I’m on with probably a 7/10 to an 8/10 area.
I log on as much as I can and try to involve myself into roleplay, I’m also familiar with needing to be online to hold onto a role, ex. My past cheer and basketball tags.

What position are you applying for?:

The position of Governor.

What is your motivation for applying?:

I have been in really only one faction in all roughly five years of my time on SRP. I've recently noticed that I am a person who actually really enjoys change. I find the same consistent thing to become boring quite quickly. I think that it's time to expand my horizons and explore other corners of SRP. Which is a large part of why I want to join the Government Faction. I also don’t really know anybody in the faction and I’d like to go around and have a new character building, as well as a connection building opportunity.

Do you have an understanding of Karakura’s laws & Constitutional rights?:

Yes, I’ve put a lot of my own personal time into memorizing the laws and rights to my best ability in hopes that it would prepare me correctly for this role.

What are your goals for being in Government Faction?:

Some of my goals for being in the Government Faction would be, as said earlier, to expand my horizons. I really want to see everything that SRP as a whole has to offer, I want to try out the factions that are available because many people have put countless time into making these factions work. Another large goal that I have would be to meet new people. I really do enjoy talking to people, so finding more people to talk with is a big goal of mine. Practicing my skills in roleplay would develop through this by talking to others ICly and would help the community come just slightly more closely knit together.

In your own words, describe the different roles of the Government Faction:

Governor
  • The governor acts like a high-level administrator. Their job focuses on keeping things running smoothly, consisting of public services and ensuring government oversight. Points can be earned by completing tasks, and must reach a quota by the end of the month, receiving their monthly pay when necessary.

- Giving out ID cards
- Officiating Marriages
- Attending trials
- Surveying Citizens
- Approving adoption paperwork
- Inspecting shops for compliance

Lawyer
  • Lawyers work in close-contact with clients and the court system. Their role centers much more on legal representation, paperwork, and communication. Lawyers earn their paycheck through making enough monthly points by completing tasks.
Duties may include the following:
- Attending court trials
- Taking and making attorney calls
- Meeting with clients
- Filing restraining orders
- Helping at the front desk
- Building and maintaining client lists

Judge
  • Judges handle legal decision making and oversight within the courts system. Their responsibilities involve case reviews, legal action authorization, and ensuring that justice is carried out properly. Like the other roles they are paid through a system of points.
Duties may include the following:
- Attending and overseeing trials
- Issuing warrants
- Reviewing and evaluating cases
- Officiating marriages
- Filing restraining orders

Head of Department
  • Manages a specific area of the government, such as the police, transportation, public works, business regulations and more. They ensure that their department is running efficiently and their staff complete the needed tasks.

Deputy Mayor
  • Serves as the Mayor’s second in command and steps in when the Mayor is unavailable. Their role is to support the day to day operations, assist with government coordination, and make sure that tasks are completed around the city.

Duties may include the following:
- Assist the Mayor in decision making and planning
- Manage city operations as needed
- Oversee department reports and ensure tasks are completed
- Help handle public feedback and meetings
- Coordinate communication over the departments
- Support city events, projects, and announcements

Mayor
  • The Mayor is the top civilian of the city, responsible for directing the rest of the government, managing departments, and overseeing large scale city operations. They guide the overall vision of the city and ensure that all government branches are running smoothly.

Duties may include the following:
- Oversee all government departments
- Approve citywide policies, laws, and budgets
- Handle high level public concerns and meetings
- Coordinate major events and city development projects
- Supervise the Governor, Judges, Lawyers, and Department Heads
- Make final decisions on large administrative issues

Do you acknowledge that upon being accepted you can be subject to removal at any given time?:

Yes, I understand this no matter if it's an issue of some kind of conflict, which seems unlikely, or an inactivity, etc.

Have you read & agreed to follow the Government Faction rules?:

Yes, I will absolutely try my hardest to follow the rules of the faction as well as the server itself at the same time.

Full name:

The woman walked into the room, following behind the interviewer. She sat down, in a selected yellow chair, slightly adjusting it to face the interviewer. She offered a gentle smile, placing her soft pink purse in her lap and setting down a pretty resume as she leaned back into the chair.

“Hello, I’m Vienna Meadow, though, I’m perfectly fine if you just call me Vienna.” She chimed out, her voice sounded perfect, it’s tone carrying a perfect volume. Was she a singer? She’d be an amazing one if she was.

Preferred title (Mr., Mrs., etc.):

She eyed the interviewer, her gentle smile still glued onto her face.”I’d prefer to go by Mrs. Meadow in the court room and to those who don't officially know me. I am okay with my co-workers calling me Vienna though.” She gently fidgeted with something on her purse, it was clear the woman was a little bit nervous, though her answers were satisfactory.

Current age:

The woman gasped at the question, a hand coming up to gently hold onto her chest. “Don’t you know?” She paused, not elaborating just yet as she held onto a concerned look, staring down the interviewer.

“You aren’t supposed to ask a woman her age!” She shook her head, the concerned gaze seemed to become swallowed by her as it faded. She fell into the question, knowing she must answer it. “I am thirty five.” She calmly stated, her hands returning to her lap once the question had been answered.

Date of birth:

She lightly laughed at the followup of a question this one was. “You didn’t learn, I see!” She held onto a smile, clearly she was joking. “I was born on January 13th, 1990.” She gave the interviewer a ‘look’ not a mean one, she was still stuck on the joke she had made.

Academic Background:

Vienna would straighten up in her chair, smoothing out an invisible wrinkle in her skirt while she prepared herself for the question. Her soft smile returned, much warmer this time, as if she was holding onto her college years.

“Well,” she would begin, her tone seemed soft and melodic. “I graduated from Seinaru University with a major in Public Administration and a minor in Social Policy. I’ve always had a big heart for community work, so it felt pretty natural for me to pursue something that would allow me to serve others.” She paused, her fingers brushing along the strap of her purse in a soothing manner.

“I’ve also completed additional certification courses in municipal management and emergency planning. Karakura may be pretty small in comparison to other cities, but it deserves someone who understands both structure and compassion.” Her smile only grew larger, pride slightly flickering in her eyes before settling back into her usual composed gentleness.

“I suppose you could say I’ve always been preparing myself for a role like this.”

Work experience:

Vienna took a deep breath, relaxing herself before answering the question. “I’ve spent the last twelve years working within an administrative network.” Her voice was quite steady while she spoke. “I first started as a clerk in the Civil Affairs Office, just basic paperwork, public inquiries, helping residents get what they needed. It taught me patience and how important it is to treat others with kindness.” She smiled, how cheerful this woman was.

“From there I was promoted to Community Regulations Coordinator. I worked closely with local families, oversaw public forums, and collaborated with department heads to address concerns before they ever became real problems.” Her fingers would tap gently on her pink purse, not from nerves this time, but thoughtfulness. “It was rewarding, exhausting, but totally in the best way.”

Vienna’s eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of determination as she sat up, speaking once more. “For the last four years, I’ve served as the Assistant Director of Municipal Services. I managed interdepartmental communication, reviewed the public service budget, and helped implement the modernization project that would streamline citizen request forms.” A soft laugh came from her. “Not the flashiest of work, but it was necessary.”

Her gaze met the interviewer’s with gentle sincerity. “All of these roles have helped prepare me to step confidently into the Governor position. Karakura deserves someone who knows its people, its departments, and its heartbeat. I’m ready to serve.”

Nationality & born location:

Vienna would blink softly at the question, her expression brightened with a gentle warmth. “Oh yes, of course.” She spoke, adjusting a loose strand of hair out of her face before speaking up once more. “I was born in Canada, in a small town just outside of Vancouver. Beautiful place, honestly.”

She smiled, the kind that carried fond memories. “My family moved back and forth from Tokyo and back over in Canada for a lot of my life, so I understand how the laws of Japan are regularly. I’ve made sure to memorize and emphasize the Karakura specific laws as well.”

Criminal record:

The question seemed to totally catch her off guard. Vienna’s posture stiffened just a touch and her eyebrows would lift in mild disbelief. “Me? A-a criminal record?” She repeated the question, surprise carried in her voice as she placed a hand delicately against her chest once again.

Her gentle smile returned, though now paired with a small hint of offended dignity. “No, absolutely not. I’ve never had so much as a parking violation. I understand you must ask but…” She let out a soft sigh, shaking her head with a flustered smile. “Goodness, I can assure you I’m quite boring in that regard.”

What makes you a good candidate for this job?:
Vienna would take a moment before answering this question, her expression settling back into something sincere and steady. She folded her hands once more, her voice would carry a quiet confidence.

“I believe I’m a strong candidate because I care deeply, about the people, about the structure of this town, about ensuring everyone feels heard and supported.” She paused. “My years in municipal work have given me a thorough understanding of how Karakura functions, both in policy and in community.”

She paused, allowing her thoughts to settle before continuing once more. “But beyond experience, I listen, I collaborate, and I lead with empathy. Karakura needs someone who can balance diplomacy with decisiveness, and I truly believe I can offer that.”

There was yet again a soft determination in her eyes. “I want to protect the heart of this town, and help it grow.”
