He gets mistaken as a girl quite a lot, and it bothers him a bit, he tried changing how he looked more to seem more masculine but it didn't help at all with him being misgendered. Being misgendered so much used to upset him quite a lot but he has gotten used to it and it doesn't bother him as much anymore.

Sal, before he came to Karakura, he lived in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel somewhat near the Givat Aliya Beach. Sal was born in Israel, Hebrew is his first language. As Sal got older he began to learn the language of karakura, as he planned to move there for school and to get away from the Israel-Palestine conflicts. Once Sal got to karakura he started school immediately, while he went to school his speaking in the karakura language slowly got better; though it still had its problems.
