Some More Updates And Feedback

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
Before I get into this long or short list of stuff I would like to see added or fixed into the game look at my first one here: https://schoolrp.net/threads/some-major-update-ideas.34096/ So I don't repeat things! Now onto my feedback and things I would love to see!

Clones:​

So the first thing I would love to mention are the clones. They can get very annoying sometimes, with it either being you think it's your friend or someone that could help you with a situation, or a mass crowd of clones making spawn very very crowded. This bug really needs to be fix if it means refreshing the server every hour or just finding a solution to get rid of them.

Classes/School Hours:​

With this update/change, is with classes and periods. A lot of players get really bored if there is school going on and no teachers online or if there are teachers online they don't start a class. How I feel this should work is, if staff sees that no teachers are online to start a class for players or no teacher has started a class after a certain time period, a staff member or principal should announce that it would be a breaktime or a free period for students to hangout or go and do something else. This could happen in many ways that you could think of, or when no classes start give players something to do while they wait for the next period to start and hopefully a teacher will start one. Also if no teachers are on, it should be a no school day so it kind of feels like real life with no school days and half days.

Shop Announcements:​

This is not at all what your probably thinking, when I'm talking about shop announcements I mean like shops alerting players when they are hiring people and any other announcement the shop would have. How players would be able to know these announcements is by shop owners shop discord servers are linked in the Roleplay Hub discord server, but the server must meet certain requirements that staff would setup and make. This would help very much for players looking to be hired and so shops don't have to repeated tell players if they are hiring or not.

Backpacks and Purses:​

With this update I mean, with the custom backpacks and purses you can buy at shops or the auction house they make the usable, because I know people including myself buy the Pikachu Backpack, or the Gucci Backpack thinking they will be able to store stuff in it as extra inventory space, but all it is, is a prop that is useless and just for show. I would either like them to have more inventory space or a warning that lets players know they are not usable before they go and waste their money on a prop.

Cooking and Baking:​

Please bring back cooking and possibly make baking a thing too. When I joined and saw a pan and that you could cook I was so happy and thought that was really fun, and then I learned it was taken away so I would love to see it come back so that you could actually have chefs for restaurant and also you could cook meals for friends instead of always ordering out.

More Player Models Plugin:​

This section says it in the name, add the more player models plugin to the server. If you add it players could customize there characters height, size, have HD Skins if they want do /cry, /love, /dance, /sing, /yes, /no, /point so much amazing features! I feel like instead of just saying you could use the mod for yourself just let everyone use it by adding the plugin to the server!

Most likely will be making a 3rd one when I think of more ideas!

For the More Player Models, it's a mod that is also a plugin, it allows players to change skins straight away use HD skins, change height, size, and other stuff. Right now it's on the allowed mods list, so why not just bring it into the game fully so it would give more life to characters: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/more-player-models

I thought it would be useful if I gave my opinion on these suggestions. So, I made a summary of my opinion on each individual suggestion.

They're have been working on fixing this bug for a while now, I think. It's just a case of being patient and letting them figure it out.

I dislike this due to the simple fact that not all staff members ICLY work for the school. So, they don't have the ability to use the intercom. It would be a bit strange if someone that didn't work at the school announced that there would be a free period. I also find it slightly pointless, as why would a someone have to announce it was a free period? It would be fairly obvious due to the fact there is no faculty around to host classes.

I think that this COULD be helpful in an ideal world, but not everyone wants to work at a shop. This means that the more important Discords such as Fantasy Roleplay and Karakura Emergency would be lost at the top. Plus, Roleplay Hub is a hybrid Discord shared with RPM and FRP, not only SRP.

Pretty sure that this used to be a thing, but the plugin made the server lag like hell. They got removed because people were using them to duplicate items, I think. So I disagree on this one.

I don't like this, as it's a roleplay server. Just roleplay it out, it will make role-play situations more interesting. For example, something could go wrong as your character can't cook! Or, your character could be a mini Gordan Ramsey.

Again, it's a roleplay server- so by adding more player models would ruin the fact you would lose the ability to roleplay things out.​

shop discords used to be public before, i see no reason why they cant be public again

again causes (probably will) lag, and not everyone really knows how to download mods and have them effectively run on their computer, really just unnecessary for things you can just roleplay out, use your imagination *sparkles*

I wasn't exactly planning on putting in my two cents, but a central discord for all player run businesses could be really nifty. Having a discord where all the tailors, shops, and anything else player ran could be really nice. It's hard to find tailor discords unless you want to go ask around, and this would help fix that problem. You could do the announcements for hiring/opening too.

Back on everything else in the post:

Clones: +1 Are a huge problem
From what I can tell, they showed up around the time cross-play was implemented and tags were made into entities to fix /rpname. I'm not sure how far staff is into fixing the problem, so I want to discuss what I think started it.. which was the change in entities for rpnames. The problem probably stems from there, not sure how to fix it though.

Classes: -1 Hanging out at school is nice, its a smaller place which makes it easier to find players

Cooking/Baking: +1 Revisiting and changing the plugin up would be really cool, like imagine going to a restaurant IC and watching people cook your food.

Backpacks/Purse: -1 Cool in thought but they create lag so no

More Player Models: -1 It probably creates lag and half the time no one would know how tall to make their character so it converts correctly. I think it's cool in thought but less so in play.

clones are because of the nametags, its been in the works for god knows how long and i dont think it'd be fixed anytime soon. they've got a lot other bugs to fix first
