WHAT YOU NEED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
As the title of this post says, this suggestion basically consists of a way to reward those people belonging to the GangRP community with acknowledgement and, perhaps, some monetary rewards.

There are two ways in which this could work
The first one, which would imply making a poll and giving it away to SRP players to vote for their favourite GangRP member, allowing all sorts of parties to participate in it. This would be somewhat similar to what Student of the Month is, but with the GangRP community. Of course, the candidates for these votes would be chosen by a staff member, preferably Minobu, given that he is practically the lead of this faction.
The second option, though, would be to get many staff members to discuss who the Criminal of the Month would be, in order to avoid any kind of bias among these votes. It would be kind of similar to what other factions (High School Teachers, KPD, EMS, etc.) do to choose the member of the month in their faction

The reason why I think this would be beneficial is the fact that it would motivate people to have a reason to engage in GangRP in a non-toxic way, making their way into SchoolRP, and getting a good reputation for it. I am aware that the GangRP community has had some issues regarding toxicity, but this does not mean that most of the faction is like this. This is precisely why I believe that it would be ideal to reward those who behave properly and engage in interesting activities ICly with something like the title of Criminal of The Month.

I agree with this as it would encourage the non-toxic behaviour that people involved with GangRP are trying so very hard to influence. Stereotypically, GangRP is seen as toxic all the time- which it is not. If this was to be implemented, I think it would make some positive changes to the faction.

Maybe on top of the reward itself, a written explanation of how they got there/what they've been doing. That could be the incentive to follow in their footsteps.

Rewarding/acknowledging people for excelling in their favorite form of roleplay & leaving a positive experience for others sounds like a great idea, +1

GangRP'ers already will gain rewards from taking over turfs and participating in events in the future- A GangRP'er of the Month system wouldn't realistically make sense as GangRP deep within is very divided (This being Gang VS Gang). I don't see anything wrong with showing off a Player who has shown respect, knowledge and good overall RP within the community but I believe actions by said Players would show more than a monthly award? Which still sounds a little odd

I disagree with this because I WILL GET JEALOUS WHENEVER SOMEONE GETS IT, but I will have to be fair and say it's a good idea ;pensive;

This response alone shows that it's a good incentive for one gangrper to follow another's footsteps in a way staff sees as good. Staff recognition feels different from player recognition by a longshot, especially with something like gangrp where everyone feels like it's looked down upon. As far as I'm aware gangrpers have no real rewards even when taking over turfs or fighting each other beyond bragging rights. A COTM would work like OFTM where it's mostly OOC, and I think it could be interesting to say...

Let the criminal of the month write a response announcement to how they've got there, what they're doing, and what they plan to do in an announcement they could get in the criminal discord- Obviously a proofread announcement sent by either Eli or some other person with access to that channel.
