Repetitive

SRP is starting to get repetitive, Gang RP is old, romance is alr, combat is all luck. Starting to get bored, I know it takes a while to make 3D models and staff are trying. Most staff are dealing with ban appeals and stuff like that, just more updates or make combat better. After a while of playing it will get boring. Just putting my thoughts out there || This is my opinion.

The problem that a lot of the player base of SRP has is that they forget to indulge in what SRP is really about and that's- writing. Take time to write about the pasts of your characters, including family, friends, any items that may be dear to them. Watch them grow and develop in Karakura's environment. Take control of the roleplay you do, introduce new character arcs, make characters that are interesting, interact with new people, and you won't get bored.

ive been rping on my main oc Lucius Herrington since 2018, owner MikeShotZ has been using his main oc since 2016 -- and although I cant speak for him I know that by doing what xan here as described that I've been able to consistently play the same character for years

As the other two have said previously that is a GREAT way to progressively develop your character. Although it might not be so much ICly, it still adds depth and could also set a path in which you wish to take your character. This could revolve around mindset, speaking differently, involvement, etc.

Furthermore, try and set goals. For instance, a fairly common one, try and get rich. Better yet find a friend in every timezone that way you have a whole 24/h world-clock to roleplay with. Attempt to engage yourself in the Business side of SRP, the School side of SRP, try Adult life? Although SRP is dull at the moment, you could still engage yourself in an environment in which brings back the fun side.
