General Appearance:
She’d have a stature of 5’7”, appearing weak or even sick. Her skin is pale, often forming bruises and cuts from even the slightest collision. The brunette has warm undertones in her hair, the locks tumbling down her back in loose waves. A faint scent of lavender surrounds her, giving off an illusion of sweetness and comfort. Her eyes are almond shaped and match the colour of her hair, highlighted by her dark eyelashes and eyebrows. Sometimes they lose their light, appearing lifeless and possibly unsettling to look into for too long. This change occurs when she experiences moments of emotional detachment. From her core, she emits a negative aura and seems to be viewed as a burden that no one wants to deal with.
Personality:
Kiarra has anti-social behaviour; she prefers to keep to herself rather than attempting to make friends. When people do come to her first, she likes to fake her kindness in order to appear like a nice girl when in reality she'd rather not to speak to them. She does this to blend in with the crowd, hoping to appear natural and easy going. Her mannerisms can be described as being strangely put together, as if she thinks about exactly how she will react to something or she'll play out a situation in her mind before it happens. If she is not in the mood to put up a façade, Kiarra has no problem with ignoring people completely.
Generally, she is more of the shy type; not a fan of big events or being the centre of attention. She spends a considerable amount of time alone, and enjoys it. When she's with people, she may switch up and have random bursts of superiority in which she tries to act smart with them. This explains her lack of friends and connections: there is a disconnect between Kiarra and relationships. She does not seem bothered by this, she has always said that her own company is all she needs to be satisfied.
Overall, she can come across as very offensive, often causing a lot of problems at school and other places due to her actions. There is an obvious lack of empathy in Kiarra, she says and does things that are completely insensitive or hurtful and then tries to shootdown any criticism regarding her terrible attitude. A key trait with Kiarra is that she has a warped perception of right and wrong, making others' constructive feedback virtually useless. The routes of her worrying personality seem to be unknown, she was born into a happy and healthy family.

Diseases/Illness:
Besides mental illness, Kiarra is physically decent but she does lean towards the underweight side. She feels fatigued often, having limited energy to move or work on responsibilities she may have
Character Voice:
Despite living in Karakura for some time, Kiarra has an Italian accent that is still quite noticeable when she speaks to others. Her voice is of a medium pitch, sounding smooth and calm. She speaks in a flat and emotionless tone which can be hard to hear if the listener doesn’t pay attention, this is due to how quiet her voice is. When she is in a state of detachment, she mainly replies with one word responses that lack any kind of substance and conscious. In a lot of cases, there is a certain hint of sarcasm that may come across as disdainful and just plain rude
Equipment:
Phone, pills and various notebooks that have been scribbled all over with nonsensical writing. In some cases, questionable drawings can be found alongside other possible confessions or notes
Hobbies:
She has very little passion for anything which may explain why she shuts down in school, completely refusing to work properly and build a career for herself. However, she does enjoy writing as a form of self-expression since it helps her present the ideas that her voice cannot. Kiarra also connects with music on a deeper level, not going a day without it as she claims it helps her emotionally. She does have some abilities (listed in the skills below) but is not consistent with them and is very quick to become bored of most activities.
Serious Problems/Flaws/Addictions/Disorders/Disabilities:
Kiarra suffers from severe depression which has led her to moments of existential crisis and self-harm. She has other unidentified psychological issues that have only worsened with time because of her stubborn refusal to seek help. Most likely, she'd never acknowledge what is wrong with her, convinced that she is in the best state anyone could possibly be in.
She also turns to drinking and drugs often as they offer a temporary escape for her. She is aware of the damaging effects and tries to turn away from these coping mechanisms, especially drinking as her main guilt comes from the fact that over-indulging is a sin. As a form of repentance, Kiarra has been trying to set goals for herself to stay sober for periods of time.
Skills:
Writing, debating, sketching / other art forms alongside short distance running that can be useful during chases
Family:
Kiarra is originally from her biological family ‘Floris’. They are still alive, residing in Italy ever since she abandoned her parents and decided to join the Holland family
Backstory:
Born in Siena, Italy, on a hot day in June, Kiarra was finally received by her mother Lucia Floris before her dad Durante Floris fainted and dropped to the floor. Nurses quickly attended to the fallen man while the mother who was wrapped in light hospital sheets hugged her baby closer to her chest, far too exhausted to even look at her comical husband. 'The baby is so sweet looking, she has hopeful eyes.' the woman thought. Lucia smiled down with pride, tracing the newborn’s face with the most gentle and motherly touch.
. . .
Kiarra's infancy brought a lot of work for the young couple, a huge responsibility placed upon both of their shoulders. She was the first and only child of the family, introducing a whole new chapter to Lucia and Durante's lives. They happily adapted, taking care of Kiarra with nothing but care and affection. Their wholesome attitude didn't seem to falter yet as she grew up, they only became more experienced and matured parents.
The two adults did everything in their power to give their child all she needed to live a comfortable and successful life.
. . .
A few years later, when Kiarra had reached the age of five, she was enrolled into a Christian primary school by her faithful parents. It wasn’t long until problems were being reported back home by her teachers. Her parents started to feel frustrated; it seemed like they were getting calls regarding their daughter almost every day. The teachers would complain about Kiarra’s very odd behaviour in class, causing numerous disturbances to everyone present in the room. Other parents were making complaints to the school concerning their children’s possessions that had been mysteriously disappearing from their bags. Multiple families had pointed their fingers at the Floris family, they were getting increasingly suspicious of Kiarra due to most of them witnessing her distasteful ways of conducting herself during events like parent’s evenings or reward assemblies. The protests kept piling up on Lucia and Durante, some families even referred to their daughter as a “Devil Child”, saying she was completely out of line and undeserving of a place in the holy institution. Unable to take the waves of hate directed towards them, the defeated couple finally removed Kiarra from the school before she could be expelled in hopes of avoiding her public record getting tainted. They hoped to move her to a new school, a fresh start. Maybe she could act normally and get along with others, be it students or teachers, just like every other child. The girl was placed in a more strict school of similar religious nature, the parents’ goal was to slowly put pressure on Kiarra so that she didn’t get overwhelmed or completely act out.
This did not change a thing.
Reactions to her behaviour in the new school were only more intense, some might even describe it as outrage. The members of staff knew that whenever they saw the girl, there would be trouble or something very disturbing would be said to them. Despite Kiarra’s terrible reputation, she was completely devoted to the faith. It seemed to consume her every day at the school, which was the only thing she was praised for. However, she would tirelessly keep making references to God, explaining her intentions in the most self-justifiable way as possible. With all the twisting and illogical reasoning Kiarra put forth, the community began to grow tired of her and her mispurpose of religion. Her peers were creeped out, to say the least, understandably not including her in their friend groups or games. This only made Kiarra believe herself to be the one in the right, she’d explain that she was the chosen one who others did not believe in, much like Jesus. This conceited parallel she drew seemed to be the breaking point for the Headmistress. She could no longer deal with the girl and quite literally grabbed her by the ear, dragging her all the way to the front gate.
“Leave these grounds and never come back. We do not need you here, do you understand? How dare you come in here and impose your theories on us, you are tainting my children. I am calling your parents to come and pick you up. This time you're facing expulsion. Goodbye, Kiarra.”
Left outside of the school alone, a few cars’ engines cut through the silence, Kiarra felt no regret about the matter. She found it funny, she felt good. She was the one in the right. Right?
. . .
Some more years later: twelve years old. Kiarra had been in and out of schools ever since year one, all the way up to year seven. Her parents were starting to feel worn out, to say the least. Their little girl had caused so much stress for them, they could no longer keep the same positive attitude that they always preached to keep. Their soft nature slowly crumbled as they became more snappy and strict with her. They would limit what kind of media she consumed, scared that she was reading the wrong things that caused her to speak in such an unnatural and self-righteous way.
Their suffocating approach made Kiarra feel trapped, and she wanted to get out. There’d be many cases of her trying to run away from home, forcing her parents to make her leave her door open in case she tried to jump out of the window. They would keep watching her, unable to trust her enough to be alone since she consistently showed signs of suicidal tendencies. Alongside all the lying and deceit that never seemed to stop with Kiarra, the parents were unnerved and beyond upset that they weren’t able to believe in their own daughter. It started to take a toll on their mental health too, often turning them against each other due to all the built up anxiety they kept inside. On one occasion, they had to file a missing person report because Kiarra had forcefully shoved her way past both of them during an argument, sprinting straight out of the door and as far as her legs could take her. She did not stop running until she could no longer feel her limbs.
Kiarra was found sleeping on a park bench four days later, it was their local park. She appeared to be malnourished as she had nothing to eat or drink the whole time. She was so set on proving her point that she didn’t need them, so much so that she refused to go back to the warm home that could provide for her needs. It was apparent that she'd rather sit uncomfortably in the cold just so she could maintain her ego. As she seemed to be harm-free, the distraught parents brought their child back home in tears. What had they done to deserve this child?
. . .
As she was just about to turn seventeen, Kiarra had told her parents for what seemed to be the millionth time that she never loved them and would not care if they died. She was fully prepared to remove herself from their lives for good, saying that she wanted to be as far away from them as possible. She had discussed her fascination with the culture of Japan, and all her parents did was listen to her dejectedly. They had no fight left in them, maybe even relieved that the girl would leave them alone to live the rest of their life in some sort of peace together. With that, Kiarra eagerly waited for her seventeenth birthday, telling the poor couple that this would be her ultimate birthday gift.
“All I want, is to never see you two again.”
The girl left them behind, feeling little to no remorse as she booked a flight to the place that intrigued her most, Karakura. On the 16th of June, 2020, she had arrived in town, with no knowledge of the language Japanese. She’d go in the library, trying her best to stay focused on Japanese language books until she had finally learnt the basics. At first, when she spoke to others her grammar would be hilarious and barely make sense. However, she eventually got the hang of it and worked on her fluency.
This had led her to where she is now, living in her apartment in Karakura as she attends school (when she is not kicked out), still following the same behavioural patterns that has stuck with her ever since childhood.
