Appearance: She strands at a rather average 5’3”, and has a petite-scrawny build. She has no tattoos, but has freckles doting her shoulders, arms, neck, and face. Having
Personality: Depending on the day, she’s quite happy to give anyone her attention and time! Always up for a chat and a willingness to help.
However, she’s also quite.. Well, distant. She doesn’t really talk about herself, mostly just asks about the other person, and while that’s not a problem in most cases, this also includes feelings and thoughts.
Questions like, “Are you sure you’re okay?” or “How are you?” are often met with the response ‘I’m fine!’ While she is, in most cases, absolutely fine, she often stresses herself (and possibly others) out with some of her thoughts and worries, which is why she just prefers to not speak about them at all. Works out for her, works out for others. This has led her to withdrawing from speaking sometimes though.
Lastly, she shows up-most attention towards friends, but with keeping the same distance, it’s hard for her to form connections on her end. Stuff such as romance, dating, etc, are out the window in the process until further notice.

If there is a way to please another person, she will do it despite everything telling her to not in some cases. She will also sometimes withdraw from people or get lost in her own head until someone gets her attention.

Quirks: She has a habit of pausing, stopping, and being slow to talk in her speech sometimes. Part of this being that she isn’t entirely fluent in Japanese and is trying to think of words and their meanings, but another reason is because she’s actually trying to think about what to say in general.

Backstory:
She actually has a good family, they are just a bit different than most. They are very supportive of some things, however, they are also very strict and sheltering towards little Olivia. Ever since the ‘incident’ with her brother, they limited her connection to the outside world, to friends, and even to other family to save face of their names. She was harshly scolded by her parents for many things and highly praised for others, often being told that she is to obey and not question their judgements. That made sense, she thought, but when she was offered a scholarship out of the country and into Japan, she leaped at the chance. Her parents had several worries, and when she assured them that she would be fine and to call them every day no matter how early or late, they granted her permission to go.
Sadly, on her way there, things didn’t pan out. She lost her luggage, her old phone overheated and shorted out, and the paperwork was mixed up, resulting in her having no house or apartment apart from her friend’s place that she met on her first day. This is where her story ends, because a new one is about to begin for her.. Man, imagine the calls she’ll be getting when she manages to get a new one.
Note: the ‘incident’ is essentially that her older brother, “Ethan”, got into severe trouble when he ended up in the wrong crowd and was put in jail after he committed accidental manslaughter when drinking and driving. He passed away later on when he was found guilty and put in prison.
