WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
I'd like the mention the lack of real estate available for adults. I believe that adults with city/faculty roles should have the opportunity to buy houses. I will elaborate more on the benefits below.

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
My idea is to give adults with working class roles to a chance to buy housing. This will increase the chance of more friendly and whole adult roleplay for our city characters that most of us have. I find it pointless for working adults to take apartments from the students that don't have a career just yet, but the adults don't have anywhere else to live or no opportunity to buy real estate. This can also encourage more family roleplay, family feuds, or more things like that. This can also increase more things to do on the weekends, for students and adults, that is more of the "abiding citizen" part of our city. As it seems the only thing you can really do on the weekends for students is just hold parties and reek mayhem.

This can include,

• Adult roleplay increasing
• Family roleplay and more ridden characters
• A more realistic aspect of roleplay
• By adding rent/mortgage, you give Adults more reason to spend their money instead of letting it stacking
• Making the houses only rentable/buyable if you have a city/faculty role with that character

I feel like this suggestion would be a great addition to SRP, adding more roleplay opportunities for adults and CityRP since this is a thing that the server is expanding on. I believe this is already in the works, but I'm not exactly sure. I would just like to get this out in the air and get more answers on the topic.

All current houses should be able to be rentable /apartments like they used to be or simply re-establish the old /claimdoor plugin

I understand why did u make this suggestion, but the houses needs to be for all the players; however, to make people apply for the school faculty to make sure the faculty won't die we getting houses after few requests. Without the houses, as I see how much teaching(hs and col) people won't apply so much to them due to the reason they see It doesnt worth for them.

For those of you stating that high schoolers and college students should be able to buy houses, please be reminded that my suggestion was for a realistic aspect of the houses. There is housing for students that's more realistic like sports housing, rentable rooms in towers, and apartments. The houses should be for adults only, that way we don't have adults taking the apartment spaces for students. Along with the fact I believe the plugin was removed from houses before because high school students were buying them and it just wasn't realistic. (I THINK!!) As I said for working adults only, that where there's more appeal to get a job within the city faction/faculty.

I also forgot to add a point in my post above, whenever someone quits their role their house should be taken away a bit after as they have no real way of paying for it. This causes people to keep their roles and not to apply for a role just to get a house.

teenagers shouldn't be able to afford that, there are obviously real life scenarios where they can but u cant trust srp players of all people to be realistic about character budgeting

it should be any rank above college, it'll give encouragement for people to graduate college as well but also, theres no reason to disinclude adult rank (its not like theres many of them anyways)

We all know they are coming "at some point." they've been saying that for months, its not that hard to implement, thats why the player is making the thread to push it up the priority list.

They've already been added, it's literally a matter of time before they're released. Keep in mind our build team has been prioritizing other projects, it is better to get them a little later than never.

We're working on doing this, however we currently have a plugin issue which is preventing us from setting up more apartments; MyLogo will be looking into this issue today/tomorrow and more updates will be provided on the trello board (click here). We'll also look into bringing back an older system to purchase houses out-right OR re-adding the /claimdoor command for normal players to claim their own houses.
