Backstory:
Moby, Despite being born in japan knew only Chinese for the first half of their life. Their parents had high expectations and wanted them to know Chinese, but neglected to realize the fact that Moby was failing in school due to not knowing Japanese like the rest of the class. Once their parents asked Moby why their grades were dropping they explained.
Moby's parents felt so guilty for not realizing sooner and honestly kind of stupid- He quickly picked up Hiragana and Katakana in a matter of weeks and then moved onto conversation.
Soon after though their father decided the lessons were taking up too much of their time and decided to cancel them against their mothers wishes to let Moby live their life leaving Moby somewhat conversational but sometimes forgets words and uses Chinese instead
Growing up in an environment with such high expectations led Moby to speak less show less emotion. Though under all of that he was a very friendly and playful person who liked meeting new people and making friends.
