Happy Saturday, everyone!
Today marks the end of the sports tournaments hosted by Karakura’s highschool and community college. . . Three sports tournaments were held over the course of approximately a week, consisting of football, basketball and volleyball, all mixed genders.
The first tournament, held on the eleventh was the most anticipated easily, that being the school’s football tournament. Before the tourney began, the respective cheerleading squads of both the Spartan and Bobcat sides of the school performed routines to cheer on their peers and to motivate the teams into doing their best. The first game played was Bobcat Males versus Spartan Males - and it was a clear victory for the younger team, the Bobcats. It was very similar with the female teams, for the Bobcats had scored a victory once again.
To decipher the first place winner, the Bobcat Males team went against the Bobcat Females, and ultimately the Males had prevailed victorious. This left them in first place, and females in second. The highschoolers took home the trophy for that tournament.
Fast forward to the seventeenth, the second tournament took place - this time in a professional stadium, as opposed to the school’s own football pitch. At the start of the tournament, similar to a week prior, both cheer teams performed a routine - this time much closer and much more intense! The first game was kicked off - Spartan males versus Bobcat males in basketball! The Spartans easily took the win, managing to score 76 points against a mere 19 from the Bobcats. Game two was much more mellow than the first, with Bobcat females winning 50 points against the Spartan females 25. Though. . The final game was won by the Spartan males overall, where they scored 66 against the highschool female team’s 16 points.
The Spartans had now pushed themselves up on the leaderboard, with each side of the school winning at least one tournament - but the next day would settle it all!
The third and final tournament was by far the longest, and consisted of many different volleyball sets. In similar fashion to the other two tournaments, both Cheer teams representing either side of the school performed a routine on their designated sides. The tourney took place in a professional stadium, different to the one used for the basketball games. In terms of games, the Spartan males seemed to be playing better than the Bobcat males - but it was a total vice-versa for the female teams, where it was a near tie, with the Bobcat females ultimately seeming to score more points. . . Though it was definitely fluctuating. The first game - Bobcat F A VS Spartan F A was won by the highschool teamA . . The other winner of that particular game was the Bobcat female B team. In the second set, the first winner was the Spartan male team A . . And the second, the Bobcat male team A. Now we had Bobcat Females A vs Bobcat Females B, and Spartan males B VS Bobcat males A.. It wasn’t difficult to see that the highschool females were on a roll.
The final game was played with Bobcat Females A on one side - and Bobcat Males A on the other. At this point, the Bobcats were guaranteed a first place either way, but which team would make it on top?
The answer is the Bobcats - obviously. . But, the overall winner was the Bobcat Males! Bobcat Males A, specifically..
