WHAT YOU WANTED TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
A Random Suggestion that probably gonna get denied but here's my shot.
Small Weapons Additional Buff: If you have a small weapons of sort (Ex: Pocket Knife and PK Custom Reskins, Hunting Dagger, etc) and it's in your inventory, and you are getting patted down by a cop, you may or may not /roll 20 for it to not be found, for new players it means you have to do /roll 20 twice, and the second roll must be higher than the first one (meaning if you rolled 5 for the first roll, you need to get 5+ for the second roll).
Or perhaps you'd have to action to hide the weapon prior to getting patted down somehow and in a realistic manner where it would make sense to hide it there, before being able to /roll 20 for it, Of course their action to hide it have to realisticly make sense in a way.
Metal Detectors in the KPD Station will find the "concealed" weapon regardless of what it is, and where you actioned to hide it, to balance out so that people still CANNOT bring weapons inside the Station.
(Keep in mind, only Knifes, small weapons, so this do not apply to big weapons like Naginata's, refrain from commenting about it before you read this fully.)
And sure, other weapons needs to be rebalanced as well if these type of suggestion is accepted (Statement from Yonio), especially making Naginatas Visible when someone have it in their possession: At first i suggested some sort of system that locks Naginatas once they are moved to your inventory to either locks naginatas in your main hand, or locked into your off-hand if you switched weapons/try to put it away. (It could apply to other big weapons but it's up to discussion)
But that was too complicated, other possible solutions are making someone with a Naginata in their inventory have a Spectral arrow effect, however this proves to be unbalanced cause Spectral Effects can be seen through walls.. or make it if they move the naginatas around their inventory they get certain amount of time of Spectral Arrow Effect.
As for balancing to make sure it's not overused, perhaps make it so that if you did attempt to "hide" your weapons but failed the /roll 20 the police may arrest you for more than just minor weaponry possession but also for attempted weapon concealment, thus increasing the possible bail and jail-time
Personal Opinion: Although a bit confusing and complicated, it could somewhat balance out GangRP and CopRP, and maybe something in between, Perhaps Gang Members may look at knifes differently, making it somewhat more than just a "Low-tier Weapon" while Police Officers may have an easier time locating Gang Members if they are caught outside with an arsenal in their inventory, as for the Naginata or "Big Weapons" they may be the same, or may be buffed to accomodate for their Concealment nerf...?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?: It makes smaller weapons like Hunting Daggers, Pocket Knives, or any small weapons like Brass Knuckles have something unique about them, rather than making them the all-underdog of the weapon roster, Rebalancing Big Weapons, and overall balancing GangRP and CopRP and maybe something in between.
Extra: All of this is not an exact suggestion to add, i will still update to comments concerning about an aspect of this feature that is being suggested, if they were to be added it may be changed from the core system by the owners, this is just a concept suggestion to introduce something new to GangRP, CopRP and including School Faculties, as it heavily limits GangRPer when it comes to walk around armed with a big weapon while giving them a possible benefits via random chance of getting away with a minor weaponry.
What do you guys think? Is the original idea suggested a good idea? and if so, how would you think it should be balanced including the balancing of other weapons like naginatas? Share your opinion down below.
