The spirit begged, the light rejected its requests continuing to pull at it. The spirit refused and fought back against the light, staying at the entrance, waiting.
Another spirit joined that spirit in the light, laying it's head on her shoulder. "Why are you fighting it Nessa? I promised you I wasn't to far behind, your daughter's doing well." The purple spirit said to the red one. "Miya.. I can't leave knowing I left behind so many people..." The spirits still wait at the entrance, as more join them. Soon she was reunited with her daughter. Only for another one of her family to take her place. "Hm.. Hera.. such potential yet so eager." Nessa's glance lingered on someone, a certain boy who she had protected for so much of her time. Her gaze also seemed to linger on a certain redheaded female, despite everything she felt her heart reside with her.
She left the light for a moment, only a moment, she hugged her son, the boy she had protected from others and herself. She bestowed onto her sister, the blessing of her eternal protection, and on the redheaded woman, the woman she loved despite the love she felt for the woman she was engaged to, she hugged her. Why did Nessa's heart belong to the redhead woman, who's scars showed an acid infused past? I guess we'll never truly know.
"I'll always be looking down on you. It's not much but, I can't wait to hug you all again." The spirit took one final glance on the one's she had left alive, and soon returned to the light. She accepted it this final time, and soon, she was engulfed by the light.
