Backstory:
Yae-Joon Jo was born in a small low-income neighborhood in Busan, South Korea, to a father & mother. His father worked long hours at a factory to provide for their family, but despite his efforts, they struggled to make ends meet. Yae-Joon grew up without any siblings, which made him crave social interaction even more.
As a child, Yae-Joon was often lonely and spent most of his time training in martial arts. He was a natural athlete and had a keen interest in Muay Thai, which he began practicing at a local gym when he was just eight years old. Over the years, he honed his skills and dedicated himself entirely to his training.
When Yae-Joon was fourteen, tragedy struck his family when his father suddenly passed away from a heart attack. His mother, who was already struggling to provide for the family, decided to send Yae-Joon to Karukura, Japan, in search of better opportunities and a new start for him.
In Japan, Yae-Joon continued his training in Muay Thai and began to master the style, quickly becoming skilled with it in actual combat training with some of his close friends.
As Yae-Joon grew older, his dedication to Muay Thai only intensified, and he became a force to be reckoned with in the Muay Thai community. Although he never pursued any other interests, he was content with his life and felt grateful for the opportunity to pursue his passion in a new and exciting place. Now eighteen years old, Yae-Joon is simply living his day-to-day life, searching for new challenges and hills to climb to get stronger.
