i was just curious if it was possible to reset your character and start from scratch

how would one delete/reset characters

It depends.
If you're grade-12 and have a highschool character you're able to change the skin and do /setage (if they are lower than grade-12, if not you just keep it) and change the name, description, and personality! There you've got a new character and "deleted" your old one. This is technically called shelving but if you cannot kill off a character until they have existed for 6 months.
Reseting a character, I don't believe so, you're better off creating a new character which would be shelving your old one! Or how you'd like "deleting."

IRL and OOC are the same thing
OOC meaning Out of Character
IC means In character and that's what I'm guessing you're referring to
But yes, OOC months!

If a char gets killed off before 6 months, is that not a fr thing that happened??? Their death, I mean
I don't believe so? I'd ask a staff member as this is just a rule that I've found in the rule forums thread. However, there's a chance it's outdated and I'm unaware of it. I'd say that if it's just to kill them off and not for like lore, background, character development- stuff like that, then I believe it'd be alright as long as they weren't just a temp-character
