players online
i think expecting new players to know what to do off rip is kinda unrealistic, the tutorial is pretty good but it doesnt really teach them how to actually interact with people, plus if your an experienced player you probably wont ever interact with a new player who is a greenie, maybe you'd even shame them or make fun of them for being a new player aka noob etc. the lack of interaction for new players is a part of them not being able to really learn how to rp dont you think? but some of them are just trolls so i get what ur saying.some greenies need common sense
yeah realism can b used as a scapegoat i think somethings are a lot more fun when they are somewhat unrealistic compared to irl. marcos been in for a while now i remember when i played a lot of people just macro'd certain actions and of course the /me grabs action was nearly always macro'd so i do agree wit u somewhatNone of this is really an addition, more of a "i feel like srp would improve if this mentality changed"
Change the roleplay meta on the combatrp side, it's impossible to do unless the players themselves decide to do it. Lately I've been disappointed in just how frequently macros are used. Macros are not good roleplay, you can hardly call it roleplay imo (as a player, not as staff). Also, realism is a poor argument for/against something and it makes me sad that like 90% of suggestion replies include "eermmm not realistic", it should be a supporting argument not a main argument. I feel like sometimes people forget "video game logic" is a thing for a reason. Plausibility over realism.
SO SICK of everything ever being suggested being like “well it isn’t realistic!!” ok go make ur char wash their dishes, do taxes, do laundry, go refill your already oocly $50 dollar car with gas from the gas station. i don’t want to hear it bro . make it make sense sometimes ……None of this is really an addition, more of a "i feel like srp would improve if this mentality changed"

no no common sense is different to knowing what to do, greenies need to not run around yelling racial slurs (last time i was on it was quite common)i think expecting new players to know what to do off rip is kinda unrealistic, the tutorial is pretty good but it doesnt really teach them how to actually interact with people, plus if your an experienced player you probably wont ever interact with a new player who is a greenie, maybe you'd even shame them or make fun of them for being a new player aka noob etc. the lack of interaction for new players is a part of them not being able to really learn how to rp dont you think? but some of them are just trolls so i get what ur saying.
