Just because a person with a cracked version doesn't make the person a hacker always. The reason I would get it because I have many computers and I'm not going to play 20 dollars just for each computer.

Minecraft has its own registry system they will not remove the accounts, of course, you'll get Minecraft for free from steam you just need to buy the account from their website and if steam detects any hacked client in the game when it's running from the steam version it would ban your Minecraft account permanently aka vac ban

The download link of the game is free that's how people able to play cracked version of the game, but you need an account to play it and Mojang supplies you the account you need when you buy it. Think Minecraft like Twitter, you can log in to your Twitter in every computer right? Minecraft is the exact same thing you're buying only 1 time and you can play on every computer you want all you have to do is download the free launcher and log into that launcher with your paid account that's pretty simple.

Also I'm trying to save money for something else okay?. So I can't get accounts for me and my siblings that cost 80 dollars. What I'm saving up for is 300 dollars. I only have 150 now. I can't start buying games now when I'm trying to save up for something!
