minecraft keeps kicking me out of the server because of the pack or it not connecting, everything is good on my end, should i just not accept the resource pack provided by the serverr?

Make sure of a couple of things on your minecraft. Make sure you are playing in 1.19.2 as 1.12.x will make it bug out or send out too many packets.
if the issue keeps happening, make sure to check your connection to the internet!

so the server isnt 1.20.4 compatible?
it kicks out some people using 1.20x versions, but the best version to play SRP on is 1.19.2

i'll get the later version!
Later versions might still provide unstable connections. As Darkeclipic said the best version to play on is 1.19.2, so that is your safest bet if you want to ensure you have no bugs, glitches, lag, or connection issues
