What's the title of your suggestion?: Apartment Reverse Warning

What's your suggestion?:
So, in the past there was this lovely time in which chests would remain no matter if the chest was empty or not if the /reverse (apartment command, im shortening it) command was ran. Then, there was a time in which the items dropped which was also not the worst! Now, the containers simply break upon running the command if its empty or not. I'm just suggesting that it be re-implimented! I know that there are a ton of bugs still present on the server right now ranging from /focus to turning ooc off, and I don't don't blame the server. . But, it could be a real bummer for newer players who might not be warned exactly, or older players who make a return and are out of the loop.

If its not able to be implemented right away, atleast add a warning command in the chat before they run the second /reverse so they are definitely prepared.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Awhile back I was deciding on redoing my apartment and thought "ya know what, I'm feeling lazy" so I reversed my apartment expecting the chests to stay in a moment of my own mindless adventure. Well, clearly they didn't (LOL..?). I really am just creating this suggestion to prevent it from happening to anyone else. I had almost 5 years worth of items including many customs that were singular or prototype which I can no longer get back, mostly cause I don't even know the names of half of them. I had around 8 double chests nd 5 barrels full.

Long story short, don't fall for my silliness and benefit the community by adding just a little warning to notify future players :)

If we have a warning to extend our rent, there should be something from reversing apartments

+1 the most convenient change would be to leave chests in tact when reversing your apartment, but even just giving a warning about it when running the command would help.

I mean this isn't exactly needed. I'm sorry that you lost your items, but we don't need a whole notifcation system just for this, and on top of that, you have to send the command in twice, so I feel as if thats a warning enough. Just use a bit of common sense to figure out that everything will be wiped, including your storage. I feel as if you should just be more careful when doing it, and just break it all manually if you really don't have an alternative to putting your stuff away. This wouldn't hurt anyone but its not exactly needed.

a huge +1 bc it might happen with a shop, i cant think about the amount of items that will get lost if something like this is happening.

I didn't even think about this!! This is also a major possible issue since some people might forget that apartment logic applies

Totally get where you are coming from and I appreciate your feedback, I feel like however it wouldn't change that much (adding in a message) and would not be too much of a hassle because we have a ton of pop up messages that work right now just fine. From the grab notification to the disown apartment reconfirmation, it really shouldn't be too much of a problem to import! When you run the command again, there is no prompt up and its so subtle that it doesn't give you much information aside from the fact that its reversing all the blocks in your apartment. . . Its a really hard thing to imagine breaking each individual block in a penthouse, tower floor, estate house, or shop individually just to make sure you don't loose all of your chests.

Thank you, but it kind of is common sense that if your apartment will be reversed, why would it keep chests and barrels which are blocks... if it says its going to reverse all the blocks your apartment... Obviously this isn't gonna hurt anyone which is why I'm okay with it being added, but really isn't needed. On top of that, breaking every block in an apartment doesn't take that long if you can click fast enough. Not everyone has a gaming mouse, and some people use office mouses, but if you can't do that, just remove all the stuff from your chests and have a friend give you a place to put your stuff temporarily, using /char to move in between the two places. The double send is enough and in the end, its unfortunately your fault if you aren't careful enough with your items.

Thank you for your suggestion! After discussing this with the team we have decided to implement it.

- We'll add additional warnings, we're also going to rename the command to 'reset'.
