What's your suggestion?:
The /clap plugin used to be around during 2019-2021, back when SRP was mainly used by 1.13.2 players. However, after several minecraft updates, it was removed because holding two shields together would only make the player lift one hand, which made the animation look... inappropriate to say the least.
A suggestion that I had for this was to add a new command alike to the way /am works (in terms of inventory saving and whatnot) that would make it so everytime you punch while holding an invisible item (that disappears when you scroll to another slot in your hotbar), it would play a single clapping sound.
This would have a slight cooldown to prevent spamming (say like 0.2 seconds cooldown so you can still clap relatively fast while not making it annoying) by using the Instrument plugin that SRPItems utilises. Of course, you'd also be able to disable this sound effect by going to your Audio menu and turning off Player Sounds.
How will this benefit the server and community?:
This would make scenes where a lot of people applaud more dynamic and immersive. It's definitely an easy thing to code, and it'd only take a short clapping sound asset to be added to the resourcepack (which would take a very small space)
