A small, close-knit Yakuza family, intricately crafted entirely for RP-sake, in order to contribute to the ever-expanding world-building of SRP. We're primarily targeted towards adult characters, whom' are focused on both realistic and immersive roleplay and character writing/development. - With that being said, however, we're open to most, if not all, those interested in a genuinely authentic YakuzaRP experience.

Over the past on-and-off year or so, a lot of thought has gone into creating this criminal organization. The main focus of the family is to give SRP a realistic, active, and prominent Yakuza faction, that generates a constant influx of both unique and interesting roleplay, for EVERYONE involved, while keeping incredibly realistic to the modern-day Yakuza. We value dedicated writing and care when it comes to the family and everything about it, and enjoy creating high-effort and unique roleplay scenarios, in which everyone involved can take something away from, be-it from an external or internal stand-point.
Let me first state that The Masahiko Family is NOT a gang. If you are looking to solely Gang RP, then you are unfortunately in the wrong place. We're a criminal organization, that operates more as a unofficial family/business, than an illegal street-gang. We deal in loan-sharking, protection-rackets, brokerage, distribution, partnerships etc. And try to keep out of street-fights, or the public-eye as a whole for that matter. The family is very close-knit, and tends not to trust external factions, unless under certain circumstances, or when business demands otherwise.
A lot of what you'll need to know does come through experience, so it's absolutely okay to not be an expert on Yakuza matters. All I ask is that you keep an open mind, and a willingness to adapt to a new, unique, and completely different form of Gang Roleplay; Both ICly and OOCly. By joining now, You won't be coming in at the end of The Masahiko Family's story; Nor the middle. you'll be coming in right at the beginning, and the fate and impact of both your character and the family itself ultimately rests within your hands. Whether we stay a small-time bottom-rung Yakuza family, or flourish into an official Yakuza clan, everything begins here.
