Firefighter role, fire department

Now as others have pointed out this has been suggested multiple times before and it has been denied. Currently KPD and EMS split the role of being “firefighters” with KPD having fire extinguishers and EMS usually going in to find any victims and treat them. Fires themselves are rare and are on an event basis only currently as well which provides a lack of neeed for an entire department to be created for something that happens so rarely. If we were to open it to the entire player base being able to create fires it would be abused constantly.
Now as Infi mentioned, the player base, while having grown significantly from when I began playing, wouldn’t likely be able to support another new faction as it stands currently. So in the future if it is able to, then I think this wouldn’t be a terrible idea to add a fire department.

I can see the pros and cons other people have posted on but I believe there isn't an exact reason behind having the role when KPD and EMS already have their respective duties to compensate for the lack of fire-fighters when they do occur once in a blue moon, It's a rare occurrence entirely, I don't exactly see the whole need to make a new faction and buildings and for the other duties Fire-fighters as a role could potentially have would overlap with duties which are better suited with other factions or overlap with other faction's own duties, I feel as if Fire-fighting as a whole would get repetitive and not mentioning the fact responding to a call would require way more people to be in in the first place as it is a fire and who knows what could happen, 2-3 people per call every time a situation begins

-1 Fires aren't common enough to warrant a whole faction to be made depending it. EMS and KPD already do the jobs of the fire department.
