The speed stats gain in this game felt very slow to me, so I had decided to take some measurements on how long it would realistically take someone with non-stop running to maximize their speed as opposed to their acrobatics.

To test this, I ran at the track field with no jumping, only jumping by the end, and timed myself on how long it would take to go from 0% speed to 0.1% speed.

With some rough measurements, I can acquire 0.1% speed with 12 minutes of non-stop sprinting. This means that for 50% speed boost, one would be running at 100 hours. This might be reasonable in a survival server, but with role play, you spend more time not moving than moving.

I have had a few conversations with players as well that acquired maximum speed, and it seems to have taken them considerably less time than 100 hours to acquire max speed. Although, this is fully anecdotal.

I believe this might be an unintentional change over time that went unnoticed due to the majority of players already having high speed stats. Since acrobatics is considerably faster to get 100% on, my suggestion is that the speed stats should be acquired at the same rate.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Less barrier on entry for roles like volleyballs and soccer, along with newer players being able to catch up with the advantage that speed provides in game.

For the entry requirements for volleyball/soccer/swim it isn't a definite requirement as you will gain those speed/acrobatics/swim attributes through training etc however it is preferred due to how fast paced the sport may be, volleyball was quite hard to keep up with until 50% due to reaching the ball quick enough however it is more or less a recommendation to make it easier for you, it isn't a requirement but it is preferred.
