Many do not know the story of Yae. Many were not there when she was first brought into this world. When she had found her peace and her home. And only a few know of her and the story.
Yae was born- the beginning of 2024. A young and little pup who was found by Maliah Visha, long before she was a Hanazono. When Mal was just a sophomore, she found Yae injured in the woods and took her in. Where she was taken care of and fed and loved. And when Mal tried taking her back to the woods, she refused to leave. Which brought her to become a domesticated fox. She became the little menace to the family of the Hanazono's and Visha's. With her constantly stealing shoes, shoe laces, KPD sunglasses and constantly just- stealing from nearly everyone she came across. She would also bless people with at least 1k in order to make up for it.Though, one day, when Yae was just a little one. She came across a young and drunk boy. Named Theo Ichiyama-Carluccio. A punk kid with a military past. It was adoption at first sight basically. Theo got attached and Yae did as well. And right away, Yae was given the Carluccio name to show the quick bond Yae and Theo had made. Though, it surprised Mal, she had no problem with it. Seeing as Theo was just as chaotic, which made the two a perfect pair. They spent nearly every day together. She would steal his boots, his shoelaces, and she would wait at the school gates for him. But the days Theo was gone. She would wait at home. And when Theo didn't return for a while, she was left in the care of Yamato Hanazono.
Yamato wasn't as big on animals, but he welcomed the little chaotic fox with open arms. Which gained the little fox her last name(s). Hanazono and Carluccio. She had met Eli (From a distance), Asahi Hanazono (Who absolutely encouraged her little rebellious stage), Ezio DeLuca-Calderon (Who also encouraged her but also took care of her), Touji Kennedy-Bando (She attached to him since he was first adopted by Maliah), Karasuya Bando-Beaufoy (Who helped her find Yama and Theo on dark days) and Primrose (Who adored her and encouraged her chonky self), and Karasuya’s twin brother, along with Ren Aiuchi (Who had helped take care of her some days).
Though Yae was a menace, she was a supporter, a psychologist, a comfort and loved by everyone she came across. As she got older, she watched as everyone around her aged as well. Watching Touji grow up, make new friends and take over a photography club. Watched Yamato become a reporter and get engaged to his high school sweetheart and adopt his daughter Fia. Watched as Sky's triplets were born. Watched as Kara and Isaiah's triplets were born. Watched the death of many family members. Watched Theo come and go for Boot camp and Military reasons. Watched Ezio get married. Watched Blaire Togomi be married and the birth of her kids. Watched as Freya's twins were born. Yae never missed a thing. She was always included in family things, because she was family to everyone she met.As the years went by, Yae got older. She reunited with her daughter whom she thought she had lost to poachers, watched as all the kids born into the families grew. Got to meet Eli and Abeni's daughter. Got to meet several spirits. Take part in Man'en things, take part in Hanazono Clan meetings and business things. Explored the sewers. Yae finally reached an age that she could no longer run. Her orange fur slowly turned pale to white. Her days of stealing shoes and shoelaces were coming to an end. Though she was still very chonky. She watched as
Evelin became a priest and she was there when Theo returned from his duties. But only to be greeted with sorrow when she had learned that, Primrose, Theo's girlfriend and Evelin's friend was taken too soon from the world.Confused as to why Prim was underground, Theo offered to take Yae back home to Scotland to live the rest of her days in peace. But she wasn't ready to leave. They said their final goodbyes. With Ezio promising to watch over Karakura and their family. They shared one last hug and Yae gave Ezio her omamori that she always carried with her. And Ezio asked her for a favor, to watch over Theo and make sure he lives on. Which of course, she promised in return. She said her goodbyes to Prim, leaving a muddy paw print on both graves to let Prim know that she knew. She said goodbye to Evelin and goodbye to many before her and Theo went back to the spot they had met. When Theo was just a young troublesome kid, and Yae was a little troublemaking Pup. Where they promised to see each other at home.
There are tracks of Yae's fur at almost everyone's home. The Hanazono's, The Bando's, The Mori's, The Ichiyama's, The Carluccio's The shrine, the school, the sewers. There are photos of people with Yae as she grew over time. Aging with her family. The ones who took her in. There are beds in people's homes who don't even own pets who welcomed in Yae. There are shoes with shoelaces that don't match lengths nor colours. Shoes have little bite holes. There are signs of Yae nearly everywhere. But she no longer walks the streets of Karakura. As she went home with Theo. Where she watches over the boy who she had grown attached to. Where she slowly continues to age and slow down. Where her fur continues to collect on clothes, and shoelaces are given to her.
But if you go to the Bando household, if you visit Yama and Yuma, if you visit Theo. There is a bed in the corner. With shoelaces that once belonged to people, that are hidden under the little fox bed.
There will always be signs of Yae, though you may not see her. There will always be memories.
And I, who has played Yae since I started playing SRP. Will hold these memories dear. Thank you. To everyone who interacted with Yae, made memories, stole shoes and shoelaces with her. Who terrorized KPD and gang members with her. Who terrorized Eli Hanazono-Zennix and Asahi Hanazono. But thank you, to Zan. That even though today was- a sad day. Thank you for making it the sweetest and making it the best last day to play as Yae Hanazono-Carluccio. Thank you to everyone who gave her a family.
