How has SRP affected you're Online time and real life time has it made you feel stressed or has it made you feel like its a safe haven and has a good community i would like to hear how SRP affected all yalls lives for the good and the bad and what you would change about it

Community-wise, it's diverse, and you can find the bad and the good. Just like you can everywhere, of course.

Game-wise, and although I'm banned, SRP is the best game I've chosen to play. Keep in mind, I play so many games including Roblox, Valorant, LOL, story games and more. This used to bring me the most thrill and adrenaline. Yes, only over a text role-play! This game also evolved my English, made me more aware of western culture, and taught me lessons about myself.

Probably would have been an architect instead of a game and VFX modeller if I didn’t play the server lol

I would have spend 30+ thousand dollars on Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures and Magic the Gathering Cards instead.
That would be another corner of the garage full with printed resin and plastic and cardboard boxes full of small paper snips.

(I'm really saving the environment here - think about all the microplastic that hasn't been produced this way! mhm mhm)

And if I'm honest - playing Minecraft again makes me feel like a student fresh out of college. It's a wonderful nostalgic throwback.
I also get to make wonderful new acquaintances - which I'm immensely grateful for.

Kinda like Ethan, I wouldn’t be going to school or even know of my love for modeling had it not been for SRP and likely would of gone into the medical field (which is still a backup plan). But I also wouldn’t of met some of the people I hold dear to my heart, as I always have struggled with social interaction and social anxiety, and it’s helped that too in its own way.
Not to mention the life lessons I’ve learned and experience and knowledge I’ve gained.

I wasn't a very nice person before I met all the people I did on SRP, and let me say i have done a whole 180 from what I was... The people I have met and continue to talk to today have seriously shaped the kind of person I am.

I became a much more confident person and now have many people whom I dearly call friends, as well as helping me hone my English skills as a non-native English speaker with writing and communicating with others ;D

Call it chronically online, but in the past two years of me being on SRP, it’s helped me cope with many IRL issues. I have had a rough childhood and teenage life, I still do — but the people on this server, even the people that were on this server but quit, have helped me deal with it. They’ve offered open arms to me and others who share the same story as I do, or even something similar. That’s why this community is genuinely one of my favorites

it also improved my english A LOT. as a non-native i found a lot of words hard and i couldnt really keep a simple conversation with anyone, but srp literally made me that confident with my english that im doing a language certificate now

I actually joined SRP due to looking for more ways of roleplaying around and ended up really enjoying it- But I ended up sticking with it by playing a lot when I was going through a breakup in real life and it ended up being a little bit of an escape for me. Ever since then, I have been obsessed and have played a lot!

I've also met many people I now consider really great friends and that is something that I always look forward to when logging on and hanging out with (:

I've really gotten into 3D art and modelling thanks to SRP and the people who helped me improve and understand it.

I've gotten into 3D art thanks to Ethans renders on SRP, and if not for their work, I probably wouldn't do it.

When it comes to 3D modelling, I mainly got interested in it thanks to the applications which recently opened. Maybe I didn't get accepted, but it surely helped me improve and get better.

OH GOD BLESS SRP!
My writing has improved drastically, alongside my english! I think the biggest part would be how I approach character making, writing, and communication with people. :3
also if i wasn't on here i'd probably live a depressing #academic_weapon life

I don't play anymore, but a lot of my best friends to this day are people I've met on this server.

If I hadn't joined RPH I would probably be not traumatized, a normal person, but also not as sharp witted and wise with my words. SRP helped me develop certain skills no other place could have, but a huge part of the old times took away from who I was.

It can make me grumpy irl after playing for 7 hours straight, but other times it makes me feel happy and careless

Overall? It was the gateway that lead me to finding other Roleplay servers some of which are the reasons I can call certain people my closest friends it helped me develop writing and improv skills as a whole oh and all the cool friends I met in the server itself :3
