What's your Minecraft Username?: ITSGoneDark8
What's the title of your suggestion?: Players should get a replacement on hacked accounts

What's your suggestion?:
The items of what players had on their account that got hacked should able to get a ticket made about transferring to the new accounts
They should allowed to get everything back ranks, customs, money ,apartments donate to the server every day to help this server and for that we need help back right? It seems fair to all of us please make something for hacked accounts and to have a request on items back cause it should allowed 100% cause everything players brought in the server is alot of money we all need to help each making it a better place

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It will help players who lost their accounts from being hacked and wanting to continue schoolroleplay where they left off and not to lost everything for good

Although I like this, there’s a few issues I have;

First, you would need concrete proof the account is yours, and showing it off in chat is easily faked, so you’d need a receipt.

secondly, it’s usually the players fault they got hacked. Just be more careful?

If I'm not wrong, staff can already assist you with some of the things you mentioned. I'm sure they'll be happy to help as long as you provide valid evidence and follow the right support paths

It is your responsibility on making sure your accounts are protected, there are ways on preventing an account getting hacked like; 2-step authentication, Changing the password every 6 months, don't give out your login information to others, logging out of your account when you are not using it

Whilst DarkEclipic is right that it is your responsibility to protect your accounts, it is also true that not everyone is as aware of technology. Many players are kids, and many are people that simply like to RP and know next to nothing about online safety. I think if people can adequately prove they owned an account, they should be able to request inventory transfers and/or rank transfers. Especially with how expensive everything on SRP is...

I am however against getting properties back. If you get hacked, your property expires in that time and another player claims your old property, they should not be done over for it. It is also possible that people would abuse this to try and duplicate their items... There'd have to be a lot of security involved, so whilst I am +1 for this, I don't think it will actually happen to an extent of getting everything back.

While I agree with Dark's post, I do believe that there should be some form of refund through some way of evidence if it's some sort of password that is made through a command so that if you lose your account, staff can just ask you for your password and just simply give you it all back if you give them the password.

A simple screenshot of your inventory and the nameMC sign-in should easily show that the account was yours

Honestly, this take is really, while at face value sort of good, that doesn't take away that we shouldn't have any backups/alternatives on what to do if your account is hacked, having the 2nd option available other than 'suck it up' is much better than just saying "its your fault for getting hacked"

I doubt players can abuse it, because first you have to prove that your account was hacked, 2nd you also have to prove that the account was yours. 3rd, you also have to likely wait for Kimi to do this, and anybody who knows dming Kimi for situations like this will take a while (They got a life, not judging them). So it's not really worth abusing it, also it depends on what sort of properties, if it's a 50,000 house, it's not really worth getting the apartment back, but if it's a let's just say 250,000 house or etc, you might not get the old property back, but at least the money returned

Thank you for your suggestion!

- Unfortunately you are the only one responsible for the safe keeping of your Minecraft account. The only way for you to regain your rank purchased from us is by recovering the stolen/hacked Minecraft account itself. You can do this via Microsoft support (for migrated accounts only, and you'll likely need proof of purchase of your Minecraft account). This is standard practice for the majority of Minecraft servers, and we do state this in the Server Rules under 10.6.
- We heavily suggest that you enable Two-Factor Authentication on your new account to avoid this happening again (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb...-account-c7910146-672f-01e9-50a0-93b4585e7eb4)
- We can return/transfer items, vehicles, transfer ownership of private "cosmetic" items/vehicles/furniture, apartments/housing, and in some rare cases even economy so long as we can prove without a doubt you originally owned the Minecraft account it originated from. Please open a ticket on the forums for this.
- Proof of ownership of your previous account could include a Minesync'd forums account with the previous account's username, the username appearing on your launcher's options, previous unedited forum posts on your account where the IGN matches. We will not accept evidence supplied from external websites, such as NameMC or Laby.
It should go without saying, never give your password to anyone, and never grant access to your account to those you don't trust (including websites).
