This was something that was dabbled into in the past and I'm a bit
Neutral on this but leaning more towards
+1
I would admit 50 hw credits to go from HS to College B is WAY too much for having hw as a main way to grade up. And as an HD I've gotten a ton of complaints about hws not being graded and I've even gotten people asking me to grade their hws right after I've graded all my hws (Like it would be submitted right after I've finished). And personally speaking and this is my take on it but I thing that if we were to lower the credit requirement it should go down to 35-40 if we where to only make credits obtainable through homeworks only. However If we go with
@MarsRel suggestion to giving credits for simply attending we should keep the 50 credit requirement as lowering it would significantly make easier to get to college tag. This would also apply if we include the addition of school related events where you can earn credits such as internships.
Therefore it can go two ways. Either we don't change the credit requirement and add more ways to obtain credits or lowering the total credits needed and calling it there. And personally with me I see the former a lot more favorable as it gives player more roleplay opportunities. Afterall grinding for credits isn't really something that's encouraged since it raises risk of burnout and as a HU in teacher faction the most we can do is enforce more frequent HWs grading. But If I were to speak about this in the standing of a regular player, I wouldn't really mind at all having a lowered HW requirement.
BUT What I really want is for the Homework pluggin (as in the website from /homework) To be updated and reworked so it would make grading homeworks easier and also making them too. I actually suggested that but not sure if it's gonna happen.
