Issue Logging in

When I try to login my screen is on loading terrain then when it finishes my screen goes black then it says disconnected. Any suggestions on what to do?

Press direct join, insert the IP and join.
It would be easier to join without the texture pack and it would work 100% of the time (Click the "no" button when it asks for the texture pack download),
but if you want the texture pack it will take longer to join and has a small percentage that it wont work (Click the "yes" button when it asks for the texture pack download).
But overall you WILl be able to join with or without the texture pack

I don't think it's caused by the purge, as this situation is dated early in the day/week. There is a possibility that they may have done that but that doesn't seem likely. People who are experiencing connection issues were experiencing them a few hours before. It could've been a sign, yes but that doesn't quite make sense for a server to slowly stop players from getting online. Maybe you are right but who knows?
