i drew a redraw of a sailor moon screencap, emulating the style mainly in the eyes and proportions. however i'm not too pleased with everything. nevertheless, i still like it as a sign of improvement in terms of drawing with a computer mouse (because this idiot broke her tablet! wowie!)
though i don't exactly think the style suits the character and makes her appear different from what i imagine her to be like, it's not bad. the colors are flattering despite my obvious attempts at shading. can you tell i forgot how shading works? highlights were my own idea because my mouse (woah, what a shocker!) doesnt mix with old school 90s shading.
the pose is.. stiff, but it kind of works as this isn't meant to be a dynamic piece.
but alas because i can not get over the ugly line size. i attempted to hide it by manually creating pen pressure but it leaves much to be desired and improved upon. oh well! if you got this far reading, uh? thanks??

(PS: this was a !! experiment; after looking back @ it i don't think i'll mess with the 90s anime style like,, ever again-)
