Family: {FATHER} Ayato Tenshi (DECEASED at 30) {MOTHER} Moon Sun-hi (DECEASED at 31) {BROTHER} Kim Tenshi (DECEASED at 11) {BROTHER} Kye Tenshi (DECEASED at 11) {SISTER} Tuyne Tenshi (DECEASED at 6)
Backstory: Kowareta Tenshi was born on June 6th, 2001. She was the daughter of a Korean female named Moon Willis, a popular singer at the time, and a male named Ayato Tenshi. Moon was 18 and Ayato was 20 when Kowareta was born. She was somewhat unexpected and unwanted by her mother. Her mother thought it would ruin her growing career and life with how young she was.
By the time she was 1. her family was growing somewhat wealthy and her mother's career was growing quickly. They had moved into their own house and was currently thinking of starting a family because they could now afford it. Her father had also started to gain an alcohol addiction at the time.
Her parents had twin boys named Kim and Kye shortly after she turned 2. This was the time Moon decided to leave her family out of her career and give them privacy and more safety from the public.
2 years later, they had another daughter named Tuyne. She was also somewhat unexpected, due to the fact they said they would not want another kid because "The first one was too much from the start". Moon was often busy with her career, so that left Ayato always taking care of the children. If Ayato ever complained, she'd tell him that she's the one that provides them all a living, so he couldn't complain.
When Kowareta turned 9, she would often have to do most things around their house and take care of her siblings. She had also started school a few years ago before, her being somewhat popular due to her looks, mostly her eye color. At this time, she was somewhat rude to others she wasn't close to, somewhat snotty or bratty.
By the time she was 11, her mother had barely been around and when she was, she was either screaming or abusing her family. She usually yelled towards Ayato, causing him more stress and furthering his alcohol abuse. Whenever her father would leave, he would usually come home drunk, or tipsy.
Her mother started coming home frequently as the kids aged. She was kind to everyone besides Ayato and Kowareta because she blamed them for her career not improving as fast as she wanted it to. One of the nights she came home, she and Ayato got into a heated argument and she told Ayato she would divorce him the next day. He had started drinking after the fight, and Moon had confronted him about it, yelling loudly. He made the kids get into the car, him taking off while he was intoxicated. He had ended up passing out while driving, Kye attempting to stop it because he was in the passengers' seat. He tried to wake up Ayato, but they had already crashed into a building. The impact of the crash caused her father and her younger siblings to not survive the crash later on. Her younger sister had a chance if the surgery went well, but it ended up failing. Her brother Kim could have also made it if he didn't have an aneurysm that had occurred near his brain when the crash happened. Kowareta had hit her head harshly, causing her to have a concussion and lose her sense of hearing. She had also broken both of her legs and her right arm. When her mother had figured out, she had blamed it on herself. A few days after, Kowareta was told her mother had overdosed, and she would be put into a foster system.
By the time she was out of the hospital, she had been matched with a family. The parents were around their 30's and had 3 daughters named Ophelia, Nemi, and Rosalie. They were all 3, and they were all triplets. Kowareta had taken care of them as much as she could and cared for them deeply, but she was never close to her adoptive parents. They had also ended up moving to Iowa City and she had to change schools due to that. On her first day, she met a girl named Mariana. They were both new to the school at the time, so they were frequently paired with each other because they didn't know too many others. One of the days, they had gotten into an "argument" over their project they were working on. It was pretty much just them using sarcasm the whole time and being smartasses. From that day forward, they started becoming friends.
The only things they had in common were how quickly they could come up with sarcastic insults and they both had a bad past at their age. Kowareta was trying to improve herself from what had happened with her, but Mari didn't see what good could come out of it by "pretending" nothing happened. Kowareta and Mari were pretty much total opposites, but they still ended up getting along somewhat okay. Mari had ended up running away, and Kowareta secretly had her staying at her foster families home. After what had happened, she had become more anti-social and stopped hanging out with her last friends, which hurt her especially because she had just become a teenager. Due to that, she started getting heavily bullied, and her being deaf was another factor. This did slow down once a certain group of people helped her, however. One of the days she was getting teased, a member of the student council had stepped in and stopped the situation as quickly as it started. They also watched on her and informed the teacher, so there was a frequent watch of if someone were to bully her.
When Kowareta turned 16, her adoptive parents had put her back into foster care. They never said a specific reason, but she had guessed it was due to her disability and how shy she was towards them. They had treated her differently due to her being deaf, and it made it an uncomfortable situation. She was still trying to sneak Mari along with her, so this situation made it worse.
She stayed into foster care until she turned 18, and was expected to live on her own. When she earned enough money, she had gotten her and Mari plane tickets to Japan, where they now live. Her blood grandparents have paid for her to get special hearing aids so she could have the ability to hear, and frequently give her small amounts to live on, even though they have never met. She currently uses her given last name, even though she doesn't have any parents.
