When your game is loading, don't press anything, wait until the resources load. There you should be able to play.

What version of the game are you playing on

Make sure you're playing on 1.13.2
Let everything load before doing anything
Try not to tab to different windows when letting it load in

Oh that might be it, since I'm playing on 1.14.3. I'll downgrade to a old version.

also use optifine, it'll help make your game quicker!
