I like and appreciate the idea! It's an issue you've noticed, clearly thought about, and wrote a nice and (not overly) detailed suggestion about.
Definitely support this being accepted.

Ems gets there own basically /jail command (in a way). but basically less stress on EMS having to constantly stare at you while you go through crying in front of your loved ones
