What's the title of your suggestion?: Teacher & Professor Bonus
What's your suggestion?:
With the new graduate system that’s been implemented for the past several months, I’ve noticed that not a lot of teachers / professors assign homework and or they take rather a while to grade them. From what I’ve seen and heard that some students have to wait months before receiving a grade. I’ve also came to learn that teachers and professors don’t get extra pay for the time and effort put in to assign and grade the homework. Which is rather demotivating I’d say.
Therefore, I believe they should get some sort of extra pay, bonus, on their paycheck when grading homework. I can understand why they wouldn’t want to grade homework if they’re getting same base pay. It doesn’t feel motivating for them to sit and grade homework even though it’s part of their responsibilities.
If this were to happen I believe this could help get homework grading out much quicker so students can get their results back. Not only would this help the students gain their education credits they’ve been waiting for but the teacher / professor will get that bonus in their paycheck.
How much of a bonus they should get really varies. A good bonus that seems reasonable is at least 50,000¥ or even 75,000¥. This doesn’t count per homework grade they do instead it’s just a bonus they get per month if they graded homework.
To help prevent the extra bonus from getting abused, I’d say the teacher and professor must grade a minimum of a 100 homework. Now, I don’t know how much homework is given out by each professor and teacher therefore if this minimum is too low then it can be set higher by the Faction Lead.
How will this benefit the server and community?:
As I mentioned this will help speed up the months backlog of homework needing grading for some students if not most. This will help students get their education credits much faster after waiting a long amount of time for their homework results. It will also provide a better motivation for the teachers and professors to grade the given homework by receiving a much needed bonus in their paycheck.
