TRIVIA QUESTIONS

What is the student council and what do they do?:

The Student Council is a group of student individuals within the role play server that are deemed good enough to become mini faculty members. Their purpose is to assist faculty in a variety of things such as; attending detention, enforcing the rules by handing out detention slips after multiple warnings from councillors and faculty, they help faculty prevent and even stop fights. They also assist students in finding their way around the school campus and they always offer guidance to students whether the student is fourteen or eighteen. These Councillors also help However the Student Council also helps the Senior Leadership Team in organising school-wide events and make sure they run smoothly.

If a student is being bullied on and off of school grounds Councillors are those in charge of stopping this harassment and even possibly report it to the Senior Leadership Team. Aside from regular students the Student Council encourage faculty members to also come to them with issue and members of various sport teams; the volleyball team, the football team, the basketball team or even the cheerleading team to come to them with their sport issues, wether its rivalries or day to day harassment.

The Student Council also organise their own events such as fundraisers such as the bake sale they organised right in front of their room. These events offer students a variety of role play opportunities.

To conclude The Student Council is a group of students who act as students but with a higher authority, they have more authority then regular students and jocks but nether the less the faculty teams have more authority then them, so Councillors are their assistants.

What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):

I have always wanted to join The Student Council because some of my friends are within it and by how they described it to me made me want to join. I also used to be a Professor in the School Employee Faction and I have always been fascinated with this faction. I've always wanted to be a Councillor ever since I join School Role Play and when I saw that the applications were open I decided to give it a go.

I also want to join because I need a distraction and because I have a lot of free time when I play School Role Play, I also love roleplaying and Detail Role Playing so I believe that joining this faction will make me happy and occupied.

Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):

I am completely aware that I will have to use my creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council to come up with ideas for events and helping with them. I've always enjoyed brainstorming ideas for a variety of things; criminal events, family events and more. I'm also a writer within multiple Tailoring Servers including Cartier and The Thrift Shop and am sometimes commissioned with free styling biographies so being creative is NOT an issue!

SCENARIOS

While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?

Ariana would make her way towards the student. She would gently ask the individual to stop being disruptive, her tone would be hushed to minimise the disruptively. Even if her tone would be hushed it was still full urgency and her manner was stern. If the individual would keep disturbing the assembly then Ariana would pull the student out of the room where the assembly is being held and tell the teenager that any further disturbance will be resulted with a detention slip. After warning the student she would let the disturber go back to their seat. Ariana would keep an eye on this student ensuring that if that teenager would start to disturb the assembly again she would fulfil her warn. After a few minutes she notices this student starting to behave badly once more, in result she walks up to the student and silently hands them a detention slip, she would explain in a whisper why they received a detention slip and that any further disturbance will result in a Senior Leadership Team report.

A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?

If Ariana were to see a student refuse to take their mask off and that this student after being warned of receiving detention runs away she would radio to The Student Council telling them that there is a masked individual on the premises. In addition of doing this Ariana would go to any nearby and available faculty or school employees asking them to intercom for the masked student to come to the Front Desk. When Ariana locates the masked student she would contact her colleagues her location, once they arrive she asks the student to remove the mask, if the student refuses she would ask her colleague to go and get a faculty member or even a Senior Leadership Team member to come and force the student.

A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?

Ariana would frown at the teacher's explanation, she wondered if this student was seriously creating disturbing artwork and verbally threatening peers. After a moment of pondering she would gently approach the student thinking that maybe a peer to peer discussion would help. Ariana would explain exactly the situation and say to the teenager that verbally threatening students is under no circumstances accepted especially not in a mean or bullying manner, she would in addition to this explain that creating disruptive artwork is inappropriate and that if the student doesn't stop doing any of these things they may be punished with detention and a Senior Leadership Team report.

A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression

If a student would ask Ariana if they would be allowed to stage a protest on school grounds then she would ask them for more information. Upon receiving more information she would contact her superiors, the vice president and the president asking them for permission. If her colleagues think its a good idea and give her the green light she would go back to the group of students and tell them that they are permitted to stage the protest but they cannot make it into an offensive protest and they cannot force any students to think the way that they think. The protest will have to primarily take place outside of the school building, if the students wish they are permitted to go inside the building but they are on a very tight leash. They are under no circumstances allowed to disrupt any School Employee's during their work load. They aren't allowed to attend class and continue their protest within a classroom, they cannot yell outside a classroom or do anything remote to something that would disrupt a professor or teacher's lesson. They cannot start a fight. Other than that they will be allowed to express themselves as they wish.

A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?

Ariana listens to what the teacher or a receptionist is telling her. She will of course listen to anything they have to say but not necessarily follow it. The Higher-Ups of her Higher-Ups are apart of the Senior Leadership Team and they have more authority than teachers and receptionists. Ariana would point out what she was taught during her training to the teacher or receptionist and politely explain that she cannot go against the rules she must follow. She would apologise to them and explain that if they have an issue with how she acts and respects her training they can absolutely go and explain their concerns to her Higher-Ups. Ariana will absolutely not budge, rules are rules, as a member of The Student Council she is obliged of enforcing the school's rules meaning that she will not be corrupt and go against her specially tailored rulebook.

Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):

The Masquerade Party;

Ariana would suggest an event where students all meet in the gymnasium for a Masquerade Party. This event would take place a Friday evening at around nine pm. Students would pour in, everyone should have a mask over their face this could be a item mask that they get made or a mask tailored onto an individuals skin. Ariana would communicate with multiple clubs to see if they wanted to join in on the fun, maybe the photography club could take pictures of individuals for 5,000 yen each, the cooking club could provide beverages and snacks for a specific amount of money. The Performing Arts club could arrange for something fun such as stand up comedy or something as such. There will be a dance floor allowing students to dance freely and possibly bring dates to this party. These students will be in for a treat. Approaching the end of the night there will be a vote where students will chose a Winter King and Queen or a Winter King and King or a Winter Queen and Queen. The winner will have to give a little speech at the end of the night and have a dance with the other winner. All the money that will be raised during this party will be attributed to The School Council for any future events to plan their budget accordingly. So any money raised from photos, snacks or beverages will serve as future finances for more expensive events. By the end of the party Ariana and the other chaperones wether its councillors or faculty members will all be on the stage, they'll grab the microphone and thank anyone who attending and helped with The Student Council budget. By the end of the night whilst everyone pours out of the gymnasium she'd stack the money into The Student Council's room for future expenditures.
