Lower Prices in Furniture Store!

What's the title of your suggestion?: Lower Prices in Furniture Store!

What's your suggestion?:
With the addition of the furniture update, we were given some furniture choices in the NPC furniture shop. It made sense for the prices to be high since it was new and people are willing to pay a lot for a new feature.

However, after awhile we've seen the addition of custom furniture (shout out to Henkki-Do). People are all over decorating their living spaces, team houses, clubrooms, workplaces, and shops with lots of furniture.

But here's where the problem lays. The furniture shop's basic options are a second thought. I find the prices quite high for our current state of normal. When a new player buys their first apartment, it would be quite nice to be able to spend less than 100k on a decent furniture selection.

25k for a basic chair, 15k for a stack of paper, etc. There are also some choices worth 1k, which is pretty cheap and convenient.

My suggestion is to lower prices of furniture in the furniture store.
Examples can be: 5k for basic chairs, 1k for things like paper stacks, 20k for fabric shelves, 25k for the 50k things (radio), and 25k for PC setups.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
Hype: The hype of the furniture update is down, and the furniture store is a second thought.
Price: Furniture shouldn't cost 5x rent for new homeowners.
Expected: Having furniture is expected. Meaning homes look outdated and lazy when they don't use any.
Team: For shared areas, like clubrooms and team houses, leads/captains shouldn't have to fork over 300k+ on basic furnishings.
Less Tickets: When in build mode, it's easy to misclick and break a furniture item. If the item costs 10k or less, it's easier to overlook it and just buy a new one. If it's more expensive, people will be more likely to create a support ticket to gain back the item.

This is an excellent suggestion which raises very valid points, there is no timeline in which buying a basic microwave should cost the same as the entire months rent.

The shrine faction makes 100,000 yen per month. If a shrine worker has an apartment then they will spend roughly 50k per month on it, which means a shrine worker is really making 50,000 per month. That is enough to decorate maybe one quarter of a room. And god forbid you're saving to buy something from a player-ran furniture store.

Having lower prices would make decorating easier for both new players and poorer players (The majority)!!

Honestly I kinda do understand why the price of furniture is a lot more expensive but I feel that by lowering the prices of furniture items that isn't sold by shops anyways would encourage more players to go out and decorate their places using the furniture items. Plus it'll also very economically friendly for new players and players in low paying factions.

As someone who loves decorating the heck out of my apartments, this would be amazing. Lowering the prices in the furniture store would be perfect, especially for those who recently started on the server. One or two chairs should not cost as much as a month's worth of rent. And with what Urufu said with how much the Shrine faction makes, it doesn't seem fair to charge that much for an NPC ran shop.

This one time I accidentally broke my dart board, and I was so sad :(

I've been having these discussions way too often with people, some of them Shopkeepers themselves. It makes zero sense that an apartment—a place that realistically should be a place you need, which are usually expensive—is cheaper/the same price as most of the items being sold. Not a criticism of Shops whatsoever, but instead showing a massive inconsistency in the SRP economy.

Two chairs—basic chairs—are the same as paying for your whole month's rent. Think about this for a second, look around your house/apartment/property IRL, do we even have ANYTHING more expensive than rent/monthly costs? AND IF YOU SAY YES, I'll assure you they are NOT two damn chairs, a microwave, or another basic item. It'll be something luxurious.

Keep SRP consistent and (somewhat) realistic. This is a step in the right direction.

Anyways.... +1 just for the NPC store!

Step toward consistency and psuedo-realism.

the desktop cost and other expensive stuff do make sense and those do not need to be really changed, maybe a slightly less price like 40k but almost 100 US dollars aka 15k yen for a stack of paper is outrageous and I fully agree

+1 Purely because of how cray-cray it is that a cushion, printer, and wardrobe altogether are somehow less expensive than a single towel.
