This thread is to be taken ICly. It is a letter.
Letters soared across the Karakuran skies. A reply? A statement? A decree.

The Karakuran Itsbyoshi Council has been notified of the instability occurring across Izu-Karakura. All parties involved in this discourse are liable for the damage that has impacted our island, and we, the Itsbyoshi, condemn their actions. We, the nine remaining chairs of the government established by Her Serene Excellency, remain a formal advisory body to the Right Honourable, the Lord Mayor, and act only in dire times. We understand the Mayor has been promoting his government as an Ogonshoku government, but he shall not forget that he is an Itsbyoshi. The Lord Mayor's actions reflect on the Itsbyoshi, and though he is only an Itsbyoshi son, a single word from the mayor is seen as a statement from the entire Itsbyoshi of Karakura.
We ask our son, the Lord Mayor, to remember who he is and to maintain the integrity of the Itsbyoshi. His unprofessionalism and unconstitutionality are a pillar of discourse and discord in Karakura, and could result in catastrophe if they continue. Katsuhito Saiky, we, your family, your neighbours, and those you grew up around, decree that you adhere to the Matron of Shinboshi's teachings, as your predecessors, forefathers, and family have. You are the public face of the Itsbyoshi, and despite your Ogonshoku campaign, you are still our son. Restore your elegance and integrity. Restore your professionalism and constitutionality. Restore your faith in your people, all of them, whether villainous or not. If you continue, we will act as your highest advisory body. Remember who you are, Son of Karakura.
After the revelation of the Execution Papers, the disrespect reported by Shinsei Seinaru Monastery, and the involvement with individuals who stand against the Itsbyoshi, the Itsbyoshi Council of Karakura has decreed that it will boycott the Koji family and Lord Koji, and disregard them as Itsbyoshi. Henceforth, Bao Koji shall no longer be considered an Itsbyoshi Lord. His choice of title is no longer tied to the Itsbyoshi families. Henceforth, the Koji family is no longer to attend the weddings, funerals, social events, and gatherings of the Itsbyoshi. Although the Mayor has been extremely unprofessional, he remains loyal to the society he belongs to. Bao Koji has not; instead, he has used other means to rise back up in society. According to certain individuals, he is no longer part of the 'elite', or whatever they call us. We are mere servants of Karakura and Chiharu Yamatsumi. We see ourselves as nothing but the public servants of this island.
Karakura's culture is not defined by the Lord Mayor, the Itsbyoshi, the Ogonshoku, the Monogatarihito, different political parties, or the illegal organisations underground. Karakura's culture is defined by its people. We, the Itsbyoshi, remain protectors of the people of Karakura, and our duty is to serve them above all. The heirlooms of the Itsbyoshi are to remain for the Itsbyoshi, for the fans gifted by Her Serene Excellency is a reminder to serve Karakura. Never are we to think of ourselves as anything more.
