Without the negative is it really an opinion?

Make a suggestion on this and watch everyone put -1 because it’s not needed /j

I mean I think it's fine to make it an opinion by producing a -1 with a bunch of good reasons and stuff but if the only reason we can't do something is that it isn't a necessities I feel like that's a weird reason to deny something (though it depends on the suggestion)
