Backstory:
Juju and Lena, the two older sisters, share a rare genetic trait inherited from their mother, resulting in their striking red hair as the primary hair growth characteristic. This explains why Zaspira, their younger sister, doesn't have red hair, as her father has brown hair, similar to Zaspira's own hair color. Tragedy struck the family when the older sisters' mother was fatally shot, while Zaspira's mother was taken away and imprisoned, never to be heard from again due to their father's influence. He sought custody of the other children.
During the fateful night of their mother's death, Zaspira was present and witnessed the tragic event. Subsequently, they all moved to Karakura, Japan, where they lived with their father until his eventual passing from cancer. Throughout their upbringing, the siblings learned Japanese Sign Language (JSL), enabling them to communicate effectively with Juju, who had been mute since the age of six due to an injury.
For eighteen years, the three siblings lived together, facing life's challenges as a close-knit unit. However, further adversity struck when Lena was sent to the hospital after being stabbed in the eye by a gang. The journey of resilience and togetherness that these siblings experienced is a testament to their bond and strength in the face of difficult circumstances.
