Describe your activity on the server:
If I had to rate my overall activity, it would likely be: 8.5/10! My activity on the server varies depending on the day, but generally I am online for around at least three hours a day - due to my flexible school schedule. However, my activity may be decreased on Wednesdays, as that is when I have both swim practice and my work on the same day. Whilst my activity is definitely good on the server-side of things, my activity on the forums-side is a little less, I primarily use it for journalism-reports and applications, as well as viewing a suggestion or two from time to time! On a sidenote, the account I am applying with does not have as much playtime as the others as I have purchased it rather recently, but I do spend my time on all accounts equally.

TRIVIA QUESTIONS
What is the student council and what do they do?:
The student council is a group of dedicated students that come together to make a safer and friendlier learning space inside the school for everyone involved! However, whilst the student council does that, they also come up with ideas for events to keep the students involved. It is a group of creative students working together with the school, and each other, to create a fun and stable place for students and faculty alike. Councilors can also be considered role models for the rest of the students, attending classes and holding good reputations to set an example for the students. Overall, the student council is an important team to be a part of and requires patience and dedication to see it through to the end!
What motivated you to apply for council? (e.g. Interests, friends, etc.):
Whilst I was a part of the council before, I mostly decided to write another application because I dearly missed being a part of it and truly want to dedicate my time to it once more. I also still have a few friends who were in the council themselves, which is what motivated me to apply when I did last time, and it is also one of the reasons I have chosen that I wanted to come back to it now! One of the things that I dearly missed was the ability to express creativity and help with hosting events, all whilst doing it in a team-setting!
Are you aware that you’ll be having to use your creativity and teamwork ethic within the student council? (e.g. Coming up and helping with events):
Yes. It is one of the primary reasons that I want to write this application!
Can you list the roles in the council along with other roles that might be important to the council?:-,, ✦ The Presidents ⸝⸝⸝
In charge most of the time, the presidents typically represent the council and ensure that everyone and everything within the council is running the way it should.
-,, ✦ The Vice-Presidents ⸝⸝⸝
Second in command, the vice-presidents work together with the presidents to manage the council and are ready to help or assist when the president is unavailable.
-,, ✦ The Training Committee ⸝⸝⸝
Primarily the people that will train the new councilors upon acceptance to ensure that they know how to go about their daily tasks.
-,, ✦ The Student Council ⸝⸝⸝
All the members that are part of the council, dedicated students who have the best intentions for the school and ensure that it becomes a better place for everyone involved.
-,, ✦ The School Faculty ⸝⸝⸝
Important for collaborations, events, or discussions. The student council will often have to get intercoms, host detentions, or discuss solutions with a faculty-member, requiring teamwork.

SCENARIOS
While students gather for a school assembly, one student behaves disruptively, causing a disturbance. How would you manage the situation to restore order effectively while minimizing any additional disruptions to the assembly?:
‘I would approach the student and ask to speak somewhere privately so that they can tell me what happened whilst also removing the distraction for the rest of the students. If the student in question does not have a reason and continues, I would simply warn them of the consequences and inform them on how that behavior might ruin the experience for others.’
A student refuses to take their mask off after you’ve brought up detention and they’ve run away! What do you do?:
‘I will not chase after anyone unless it is absolutely necessary for me to do so. I would probably ask for an intercom if I knew which student it was, or simply try to find them on my own accord. If I am unable to do either of those things, I would likely talk to a faculty member on what further actions to take, or tell a member of the SLT - if someone is available. Aside from these things, I see nothing else that I would be able to do unless the student started breaking other rules.’
A teacher observes concerning behavior from a student, including the creation of disturbing artwork and verbal threats toward peers. How would you collaborate with the teacher to evaluate the situation and intervene appropriately to address potential safety concerns?:
‘I would ask the teacher to give me a detailed story as to what had happened, and then take the student that was threatened and the student who was threatened into a room to privately discuss what had happened. It might have been a misunderstanding, and if that is the case, I want to know. However, if it was intentional and the student actually intended to follow through with the threat, I would inform the teacher of this and discuss how to move forward. If it was just a joke, or a sarcastic comment gone wrong - I would warn the student who threatened to be careful with their choice of words next time. Depending on the situation, I would also ask for the student to apologize to the other student if it was necessary for them to move forward. Either way, I would discuss most of, if not all, of these steps with the teacher that discussed it with me. Communication is important, after all!’
A group of students asks for your permission to stage a protest on school grounds. Would you allow them to protest? If so, how do you ensure that the protest does not disrupt the school environment while upholding their freedom of expression?:
‘It would highly depend on the nature of the protest, and how they intended to do it. If it was a peaceful protest about something small and valid, I would allow them to do so as long as they stayed in quiet areas and did not disturb any events or classes on the grounds of the school. However, if it was something ridiculous with no intention of keeping it a peaceful protest, I would deny the request and inform them of better tactics to get your point across. Alternatively, if I was not sure of what decision to make, I would ask a faculty member or another councilor for a second opinion on the matter.’
A teacher/receptionist has told you that you are doing something that goes against what you were trained by your higher-ups. How would you react to this?:
‘I would ask them for a detailed explanation as to what I may have done, and either explain or apologize depending on what happened. If it was a misunderstanding where I did not mean to go against what I was trained to do, I would apologize and attempt to fix any mistake I may have made! If it was a misunderstanding where they simply saw the wrong thing, I would calmly explain what happened, and inform them that I did not break any of the conduct I was taught. However, I am not the type to breach a code of conduct by any means, so I do not think this would happen to me. Not with the intention to do so, at the very least!’
Please provide at least one detailed event that the council can use as a future event to showcase your creativity! (Must be 300 words or more for one event):
୨୧ -,, HISTORY CLUB-DIVE | ˗ˏˋ ‘Perhaps this will test if anyone actually paid attention in class or not!’ ´ˎ˗
⸝⸝⸝
‘This event would require clubs and alumni to work together, setting up various booths for different aspects of Karakurian history, all representing a different era or family. There would be picture booths hosted by the photography club, books written by the book club, traditional garments sold that are made by the fashion club, and so much more. The event would start out with a dress-code: to dress in traditional Japanese garments such as a kimono, and all the students attending would be intercomed and told to make their way to the auditorium for a dive into the history of Karakura, Japan. It could also have things like a quiz booth, a small area with artefacts hosted by the occult club, and perhaps even a competition of some kind at the end of the event. Perhaps a reward for whoever participated the most or a reward for who wore the best traditional garments to attend the event that day. This event would engage everyone with the history of the town and hopefully bring something new to the table for those interested enough to participate.’
୨୧ -,, FREAKY FRIDAY! | ˗ˏˋ ‘Who do you most admire, and does anyone even admire you? Find out!’ ´ˎ˗
⸝⸝⸝
‘This event would be one day where students are allowed to come in costumes or cosplays of their favorite characters or simply as someone they view as their idol. There could be a dancing place and booths with snacks in the auditorium, and maybe even a little talent show or a stage where you get to show off your costume(s) with a small performance and potentially win a prize. It would also be fun if there were games there, or smaller activities such as a maze, a small booth hosted by the fashion club where they sell merchandise or customized things for your costume. This event could be taken in many directions, and there are many clubs that could participate in this event. For example, a snack booth hosted by the cooking club, pictures organized by the photography and media club, and merchandise sold by the fashion club. Another small idea for this event is a little drama booth, where you will get paired up with a stranger based on the drama you find interesting to talk about, and it will sort of go down like speed-dating until you find someone that matches your interests. Sort of like a ‘find a friend’ booth, but with a little twist to make it interesting for any bystanders that are around!’

PERSONAL INFORMATION
(in-character)
Name:
‘Leilani Li. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.’
Gender:
‘Female.’
Age:
‘Seventeen.’
Phone number:
‘(030)-725-1349! - I prefer contact through a text or in person, I do not wish to crowd my phone with missed calls from strangers. Thank you.’
How would you describe your personality?:
「 ✦ INTJ-A | RAVENCLAW | POET ✦ 」
‘Incompetence should not be rewarded with blind loyalty.’
‘Resourceful and organized, with a hint of perfectionism I suppose - I am decent at reading a room and observing patterns in things that happen in that room. I am not entirely sure what else could be said for my personality, except for the fact that I prefer logic, solitude, and an interesting book to pass my free time with. However, if you really want to know more about me, perhaps I could show you my collection of books and my own written journalist articles so that you’ll get a better sense of what my views on specific things are. This is what I believe I know of myself, to other people I can be anything from a poet to a boring background character. I don’t really pay attention to either assumption.’
Appearance/attire (Please provide a picture):
⁺₊ ☾ Leilani Li, a young half Japanese, half Haitian-Hawaiian teenager whose appearance could certainly be described as regal when it came to her choice of attire. Dark ginger tresses rippled down her bodice in waves, bangs framing her face with precision. Amber eyes shone as if they were honey, hints of gold hidden within their depths. Haunting her trail was an eerie feeling, and the scent of luxury perfumes that were undoubtedly there to mask something more sinister. Li, a resourceful Journalist whose appearance couldn’t stray further away from her personality. One cold and detached, the other warm and confident. Perhaps your story shall intertwine with hers one way or another, perhaps not! ₊˚.⋆
What separates you from other applicants seeking your position?:
‘Cheerleading, Swim-Team, Performing Arts, Journalism - I have been, and still am, on many sides of the board. However, I am also adaptable and precise in the things I do. I will not judge a book by its cover without knowing the contents of it first - which is something that I think is valued in any councilor. I am also quite creative, and whilst I know this is something every member of the council is, I do still think it is a valuable trait to mention! Whilst others before me have also been on both sides of the board, I do like to think that it still gives an advantage in certain situations.’
Why do you want this position?:
‘My intention for this application was to step onto the other side of the board. I wish to broaden my horizons as I have grown tired of the things that I have already done in the past. This is something that I am passionate about, and being a councilor is something that has always been in the back of my mind - until now. Council would be a new chapter of my story, and I wish to see it through till the end. That is all I have to say for that question.’
What interests you the most about student council?:
‘Something new to pursue. The student council would be something entirely different from things that I have done in the past, and that is exactly what I wanted when making this application! I do also value creativity, and I will be able to express my ideas properly in the student council. It has many opportunities for me, and it is something that I find worthy of dedication and preparation, which is what interests me and intrigued me enough to write my formal application. On a sidenote, I also adore the chance to host and assist with events for the students and faculty attending the school!’
What could you contribute to make the school a safe and fun environment?:
‘A blank slate, I could not care less about who you are, you are someone else in every interaction. I will not judge instantly; I prefer to think and approach something with an open mind. It would be pointless to slap labels on someone the moment they are in front of you. My intention is to get the full story of all parties involved before acting on anything, and that is something that I find valuable.’
