Originally from Mishima, Shizuoka, Japan, Kiyomi Fujiya ( 清美 ふじや ) grew up with her
adoring mother Aoi and strict father Daichi. She had an older sister as well named Yukina
though they never saw eye to eye. While Yuki lived in the limelight kiyomi grew up in her
shadow. Most photos from those days always depict an angry Kiyomi, though most of her
time was spent happily. Slumber parties with her favorite cousin Hanamaru seemed to help,
but it all changed at the age of nine when her parents divorced. Yukina left with her father
while Kiyomi stayed back with her mother. The divorce didn't treat their small family well
though, her mother moved back in with her grandparents up north in Otama village, mostly
known for its active volcano, where Kiyomi grew up in favor of it.

Kiyomis grandparents, Itsuki and Hideaki, tried their best to raise a proper young lady but
Kiyomi, just like the volcano, only knew how to be dramatic. Her mothers was in and out of
the picture for years, soon becoming addicted to amphetamines leading her down a dark
path. Kiyomi, with such a unsteady home life, took to baseball to pass the time. Her PE
teacher, Chiko Aito, that she still speaks fondly of will always reign a hero in her eyes.
"Kiyomi," He'd say. "Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game." She
greatly thanks him for always focusing her on the positive instead of sulking in what could
have been with her mother.

Until one rainy morning in October, 2018. They tell you family will be there forever, that you
can count on them when you needed them the most. Kiyomi found out quickly that nothing
last forever, that even family leaves sometimes too. Her grandparents passed without much
sound, both catching a virus that ultimately lead them to a natural death. City officials while
cleansing through the leftovers of the family took notice of her mothers drug abuse and
ordered her to live within a treatment center until she had healed from it fully. Their
grandparents home going up for sale not too long ago to cover costs and fees of boarding
and treatment meaning Kiyomi had no where else to go except to her dad and sister Yukina.

Though life hadn't seemed to have treated Yukina with kindness either. She now lived with
her step mother Aiya Saiky, her father being remarried and deceased by the time Kiyomi had
stepped into Karakura. Though the two haven't seen each other in years the need for family
kept the girls attached from the moment they saw each other. As of recently Yukina's
explored another sports program at a local school while Kiyomi has beat her way to the top
of the Baseball team, earning her the baseball captain title easily. She works hard every day
to secure a future her grandparents can be proud of.
