Nadia Castilla was born in Medellin,Colombia, and lives with her father. As for her mother, she died of an unknown reason.
One day, they had to move to Japan for her father's business. When she moved to Japan, she met many people and got along with them quite well. Unfortunately for her, her father wanted to move back to Colombia as business wasn't fairing well for him. She tried talking herself out of moving because she didn't wanna leave her newly found friends, he was done with her at this point. He blamed everything on her, His business went up in flames, he had to waste more money and time on her, he had to put up with her constant complaining of trivial or big matters ,and his wife's death.
He was so sick of her, he just wanted her to die- no, to suffer an endless pain and make her wish she was dead. He abused her constantly and rarely fed her. He avoided eye contact with her, but worst of all. He put his filthy hands on her, he sexually abused her countless of times. She was traumatised and broken. She didn't tell anyone- she didn't tell Kailani, her sister. She was scared.
Even after all the dark events that happened, instead of her wanting to die. She wanted to run, as fast as she could till she couldn't anymore. And that's exactly what she did, she escaped the cursed house when the opportunity struck. Good for her right? No, she felt guilty and horrible leaving her sister behind but she just couldn't handle it anymore, all that pain and suffering. She swore to herself to never step foot in that house again. As for her father, he remarried many many times. Not for love and affection, but to use them. He never commited to his relationships, even after having children with them. This is why the Castillas are a pretty big family, though not all of them are fully Spanish.
Months passed, and she couldn't take it anymore, she dialed Lani and told her her address and they soon reunited.Lani's presence really did help her mentally and she got better. But no matter what, she could never forget what he did to her and she could never forget that fear she had experienced. Lani and Nadia started to live together, soon fading out their economic problems as they both got jobs at a cafe. They're both doing quite well to this day, they learnt that staying with eachother is their happiness.
