Backstory:
April is part of the Asselin family, who in which is a higher class family. They are an elite family of noble background and extreme wealth whose influence extends into France’s social and business worlds. Their main business focus is in healthcare and a medical equipment supply company. They also have a private police force at their disposal which is there to help and protect the family at all cost. When April was 11 she was kidnapped by people who wanted to exploit the Asselin group’s finance and medical supplies for their own use. So in doing so April was put in danger of dieing by the hands of her captors for leverage. On this stormy night when her family’s police force found them one of the men grabbed April and pointed a gun towards her head threatening to kill her if they tried anything. He backed up towards a window not knowing that their was snipers posted and as he did lighting struck and the bullet went zooming past April by a hair and hit the man through the back of his head through to the front. Ever since that day she avoided thunder at all cost because it reminds her of the day that her face was splattered in red
