‘AJ’ Delgado — AJ and JJ’s relationship can be described as a “brothers from other mothers” one, very much like bickering but loving older-younger sibling duo. Initially, they were to start a band together but those plans quickly fell through when both of them got caught up with their own lives. Nonetheless, their bond remains intact and the two are pretty much inseparable. JJ has a different kind of love for AJ and knows that they can go to him for anything and everything.
Zara Zabroda — Zara and JJ had a very odd and unlikely meetup. First communicating through the online message board of Touko, Zara took interest in JJ’s online personality only because of her hunger. Offer after offer JJ had made to Zara to share their gift, and one night, she took it. It ended up well despite them being harassed mid-meet, but in the end, Zara had a tupperware box of salmon in hand and a new “barnacle” for piggyback rides.

Violetta Hirayama — Referred to by JJ as “G****” for her previously purple hairdo, Violetta and JJ shared a friendly disliking towards AJ and his “skills”. As much as they both love the man, JJ and Violetta formed a bond from bullying him. They became hair-dying buddies and frequently check in on each other and talk about fashion and animals.
Deja Keith — Deja and JJ had met through Touko just as Zara did, but Deja almost instantly taking that parental role in their friendship. “Adopting” JJ and referring to them as her “son”, JJ and Deja frequently spoke and remained connected by means of short yet hyper and meaningful meetups.
‘gurinu’ — Whether she knew it or not, JJ had a hell of a knack for gurinu way before they ended up actually meeting. It all started with a simple compliment and since then, JJ subtly wiggled their way into a friendship. Without them even meeting face-to-face, JJ grew attached and considered her as a close friend.

✦ As much as JJ loves aquatic activities due to their fun experiences at the beach, JJ cannot swim. But that doesn’t stop them from getting into the shallow end of the pool with a floatie on just in case.
✦ JJ has Asperger’s syndrome, but chooses never to talk about it in fear that people would converse with them out of pity and that such a thing does not define who they are.
✦ JJ’s favorite genre of music is 80’s & 90’s R&B and Hip-Hop & Rap.

PERSONALITY
JJ is a part of that child-adult in-between. Though some may see it as a bad thing, JJ holds a beautiful balance of the two. JJ’s childlike whimsy is what some could call relieving, but don’t let their youthful attitude fool you. JJ is perfectly capable of reacting to situations that require a bit more maturity when need be. In some cases, this can be emotionally straining to them. And what do they do? They cry. Though they don’t cry to be sad, they see it as just a “reliever for all the bad stuff.” Regardless, it’s nothing that they can’t handle. It may take some time or a little bit of help, but JJ is always able to collect themselves and get back up on their feet again with three times as much emotional power.
All in all, JJ lives every day of their life being kind to everyone around them and encouraging everyone as much as they can, from close friends to total strangers. JJ tackles everything with a smile on their face. Their positive attitude triumphs over anything and everything. It takes a hell of a lot to truly knock over JJ and they know it. That’s where a bit of their ego comes from. Not in a bad way, of course, but in a way that further encourages them to push with the positivity!

JJ’s had a bit of a learning curve during their transition from English to Japanese, causing them to miss out on some essential parts of Japanese. Their vocabulary is very constricted due to this, but they do attempt to learn and master more complex words every now and then.

JJ dislikes being confronted. Maybe it’s because it’s something they’re not used to. Maybe it’s because of the fear that it’ll escalate to something that’ll cause them to have a panic attack. When being confronted, JJ will instantly cave in and accept any punishment that is to be given to them.

JJ doesn’t necessarily hate the fact that they’re short, but they hate the little bundle of difficulties that come with it. They feel as often overlooked within their adoptive family due to the fact that everyone else is in that 6ft range besides JJ. Due to this, JJ often asks to be carried on the shoulders of others.

Most people don’t consider this as a skill, but I, the author, sure as hell would in this case. JJ’s ability to keep a smile and an everlasting positive attitude no matter what hits them is absolutely otherworldly to me.
✦ Cooking —
Since youth, JJ seemed to be a prodigy in the culinary arts. In spirit, that is. They contained all the fire to be a great chef, but a little too much literal fire. Charred dish after charred dish, JJ was determined to create great meals with ease and out of anything they could find in their kitchen. It did in fact take a while, but they’ve grown ever since arriving in Karakura, having a few people to assist them over their culinary roadblocks along the way.

APPEARANCE
JJ was blessed with a babyface that was almost the pinnacle feature of their entire being, tying the existence of JJ themselves together. High cheekbones hidden by the plump in their face, becoming much chubbier when JJ presented their smile. There isn’t much to ****yze about JJ’s appearance. They’re pretty short, standing at a moderate 5’2 with a bit of fat to their build. Not much, but what makes for a human teddy bear. Some may or may not know, but JJ has heterochromia, with their left eye being a bit of a brighter brown than their right.
JJ dresses in bright colors on the daily, fashioned in vintage outfits with various colored and designed bandages on their fingers to add onto that rainbow-ish look. Furthering it, a variety of Sillybandz is usually on JJ’s left wrist. Truly the epitome of joy in human form.
